Anyone here watch this show? It's on it's first season. It's like a dark drama about 2 cops trying to solve a murder in 1995, but then it flashes to present day and they are being interviewed about the murder case from 17 years ago. It's pretty interesting so far. And if it's not your thing there's some nice tits in episode 2 haha

I'm loving it but Rust's nihilism is tiring.

Also everyone saying Rust is the killer is tiring.

Learn to promo pic people.

What can you reveal about episode four, which is airing on Sunday?

Episode four is the beginning of Act Two. Suddenly, the rhythm of the entire show changes. The slow part is over now. The first three episodes move at a very deliberate, almost funereal cadence, like you’re marching toward something. And what you’re marching toward is that final image in episode three.

Christ, this fucking show! "Who Goes There" was great from the start, but holy fucking shit once they hit the biker bar it just ramps and ramps until that last six-minute (!!!!) shot. One of the most amazing eps of television I have ever seen, and one of the most tense and anxiety inducing scenes I've seen in any medium.

Also, this ep gets a big bonus for playing The Melvins "History of Bad Men" in the biker bar. Primus too. Swoon.

Love this show. That 6 minute tracking shot was amazing. Someone mentioned to me the kinetic energy of that last shot, in juxtaposition with the slow build of the first 4 episodes makes for high anxiety drama. Emmys for everyone involved no doubt.

Fucking great episode. Show keeps getting better and better. Melvins, Primus, Sleep, Wu-tang and Grinderman all on the soundtrack.

In all honesty I think this is one of the best episodes of any show I've seen.

Yeah, episode 4 was boner-riffic.

Also, I think the writer/creator made a cameo as the bartender at the nudie-joint in the beginning.

yeah he did lol.... i love this show. McConaughey is insanely good in this series. Episodes 1-3 were ACT I... now Episodes 4-6 are ACT II, and the final 2 episodes, 7 & 8 are ACT III. Im hooked on this show, that whole shot at the end in the projects had me sweatin haha, it was intense

Yeah, I didn't realize it at the time (because I was so into it) until I read up on it on Monday, but that ending was all just 1 scene with no cuts or anything. That's freaking wild. Watched it again on Monday night and it was still just as good.

Just watched episodes 3 and 4 again and, shit, if you're not watching this then you suck balls (like completely manscaped, shaved and groomed) balls at life.

In eternity where there is no time, nothing can grow, nothing can become, nothing changes. So Death created time to grow the things that it would kill, and you are reborn, but into the same life that you've always been born into. I mean, how many times have we had this conversation? Well, who knows? See, you can't remember your lives. You can't change your lives. And that is the terrible and secret fate of all life. You're trapped in that nightmare you keep waking up into.

Is it obvious that Rust went underground with Marty's approval to infiltrate the group and killed Tuttle himself using meds? Still think lawn mower guy will be The Yellow King

Yeah, that was my thought as well, but I dunno, seems a little obvious to me. Interesting episode though, really not sure which way the story will get at this point in time.
