I'm blown away on first listen. I really like some of the production choices, especially on Descending. Lustmord's waves complete the track rather nicely, especially as the intro in the live version started a bit abruptly.

Pneuma's main riff threw me off initially as it reminded me of one of the Schism breakdown riffs a lot (I guess some of you will laugh about that - I've seen the running joke about Schism/Vicarious on here as I'm a busy forum lurker), but it grows to be a monster track after repeated listens.

The lack of screaming from Maynard and his backseat approach doesn't bother me at all - he delivers some beautiful, soothing melodies on this album; apart from Invincible and Descending I think that Culling Voices really stands out. And, which is important for me, I think he delivers some really thought-provoking lyrics without them being over the top.

I was really glad to hear that heavy riff from one of the soundchecks (the one that he plays after the Invincible intro riff) in 7empest. That track feels very complex, I have to listen to it a couple of times to truly get all the instrumentation going on. Maynard sounds angry on that one!

I downloaded from the link. Thought the right to do would race a copy to my brother since his a tech retard. Put it on his phone thought I better make sure it worked before I left and go. Spent two hours trying to sort eventually getting it going on his Hardrive for him. Raced home computer started fuckin up. Managed to get a few in. Checked in to 4th eye and earthrocker had hooked us up with a different link. Lit a fire in the backyard and just finished the album. We made it all!!! Hope you all enjoy/ed.
