This was the very first song that stuck in my head on my first listen. Depending on the time of day this becomes my fav off the album. Extremely catchy! Adam is a Master of Riffs! Justin's bass lines are just so Schism-y? The first ten seconds in the beginning of Schism. Very powerful song in my opinion.

He mentions the similarities to Schism on Pneuma around the 6:00 - 6:45 mark.

Who do you think will play the synth part?

There is no guitar in that section until the synth starts to trail off so I would assume Adam. Additionally, with all due respect to the dude, it sounds like just the sort of simple synth riff that he could come up with.

For someone like myself who doesn't play any instruments, this is likely watching someone do magic. Very impressive.

Adam will go across at play a synth and then come back to finish the song.

I am really looking forward to seeing this played live :)

Totally; and it is real magic I think, how unique musical instincts produce this.

Noticed some Tabla drums at the 5:00 mark last night. Pretty cool I noticed listened on these wireless Bluetooth speakers that seam to really accentuate the drums throughout.

I just listened to this song today, and now catching up on this thread...and not one of you mentioned the sound of what can only be a decelerating game show wheel near the beginning??? Seriously, it's like Wheel Of Fortune. I'm not saying it's bad - I'm just saying let's be honest about it.

It's percussion, it's there; it just probably doesn't strike anyone other than me as worth mentioning.

I love that detail in the percussion. Reminds me of the end of Disposition going into Reflection!

It can be true if you want. Even Maynard would say that you can interpret the songs however you want. Serendipity works in mysterious ways..

Thank you! Dredg is a great band btw. I presume that's what your quote is from!
