Well, about halfway through counting. If I were to stop counting now, Slipknot would be in the top 10.

For shame Fourtheye readers....

Numerous times, but I can't say I've seen anyone post Slipknot there.

I'm also surprised the 'new' Pink Floyd album got so many votes. It was OK, not top 10 worthy though.

I have to say, except for Slipknot it's a pretty solid top 10.

No Godflesh?!?! No Scott Walker & Sunn O))) ?!?!?!?

I'm surprised Godflesh didn't get more than one vote. Not so surprised about Soused.

It's interested that you're not shocked that Slipknot made the top 10, yet shocked that those two got hardly any votes...

I would disagree with this statement... most of the list sucks :P
Jakob - Sines was the only one I voted for that made it.

The percentages are pretty low, even Mastodon who finished first was only voted by about 20 of the 150 votes.

I'm more surprised more about Mastodon than Slipknot.

I've always thought that there are many people who come on here that don't post. This confirms it.

Well, there's definitely not 150 posters on the forum! Mastodon coming first didn't surprise me in the slightest.

Yeah, I agree. After hearing about Pink Floyd and Slipknot I had low expectations for the list, but besides Slipknot there isn't really an album I disapprove of.

So 3 of my top 4 are on the list, number one isn't a surprise but nowhere near deserving, 2 of my 4 most overrated albums made the list, otherwise 3 mostly meh that at least have previous releases that would be well placed in their respective, previous top 10 lists and slipknot?! Really ... Several enough people actually listened to that multiple enough times to consider it?!

I finally posted my top 10! In no particular order:

The Austerity Program – Beyond Calculation
Shellac – Dude Incredible
ACxDC – Antichrist Demoncore
Lord Mantis – Death Mask
Yob – Clearing The Path To Ascend
Philm – Fire From The Evening Sun
Mastodon – Once More ‘Round The Sun
Opeth – Pale Communion
Skinfather – None Will Mourn
Killer Be Killed – Killer Be Killed

Slipknot missed the cut unfortunately!

I've made a terrible mistake. Lazer/Wulf should be in my top 10. Killer Be Killed would be the album to drop out.

Finally heard that Pallbearer album, it's pretty good! And pretty much no growly! And I don't know why I'm using so many exclamation points!
