They had some high up front on the stage, aimed down at the stage platform. I didn’t watch every video but only really noticed it during Descending. Just a guess but maybe that’s what some of the technical difficulties and shorter time for the crew effected.

From my knowledge the only part missing from the Rockville show were the freaking sharks with freaking lasers on their freaking heads.

Something called All Souls. Would’ve been cool if they announced the new album date and just hopped off the stage.

Honestly never heard them, so I shouldn’t judge- but I will anyways.

If you are referring to the quality of Descending and Invincible not sure why anyone is having a hard time deciding if they like the songs or not. The studio versions will be better yes, but some of the recordings on youtube are high enough quality that you pretty much can hear everything. Those are the songs. They are not going to be markedly different, they are simply going to sound cleaner.

@Ziggy, that Tool Archive version of Invincible finally made me cave and listen. I sampled it and realized the quality had risen with the multi cams and better sound.

Thanks for that.

@Junior, that is damn impressive work, especially for a premiere live. Can’t wait to see how it evolves.

This album is going to be amazing.

On a completely different point.... I am really wondering if Invincible vocals were performed in FL exactly as on the album. I would love to think MJK is fucking with us, and we get several different versions live. Not to take anything away from his performance. It was killer, and has grown on me a lot after 3 passes.

... Now back to your regularly scheduled overthinking, overanalyzing already in progress....
