Nah, I hope they go back to a bare minimum setlist with weak vocals. I don't want to regret not shelling out hundreds of EUR to a ticket reseller.
Never mind that, I just enlisted in the Fourtheye live show correspondent program for Berlin.
Maynards vocals on the recent live videos gave me the final little push.

oh god! haha. oh well. thanks for the info though. im not participating in the recent ''the'' lol
My understanding is that the phrase Blair keeps extending is a reference to the release date, and the most recent change "completes" it (unless the release date changes again)
I am really fucking digging Descending and Invincible. Question for you all, so is the Birmingham “remastered” the best audio recordings so far of those two songs? I know there has been some decent audio recording from Europe in the past, so hopefully some good quality recordings come from the next leg of the tour. Jesus, I just wish Tool would put the damn album on pre-order on iTunes so I can listen to studio versions of those two songs. Charge me $1.29 for each of the two songs and full price on Aug. 30th. *take my money gif*

Word my dude I am right there with you I absolutely love these two songs I would drop 5 bucks on each song if they released em early on ITunes and Amazon. Obviously they won’t charge anything more than the standard price but fuck I would if I could get em early and it was an option.
As for quality dunno best I have found in terms of Descending on YouTube is probably from Anypath. Invincible a bunch around the same quality but I tend to just listen to the ToolArchive uploads because TA is good people and has done a great service to the community.

$1.29? I'd happily pay $5 a pop for FLAC versions of the recorded songs
FLAC versions shit I might go as high as $10 a pop I mean fuck this is Tool’s last hurrah in terms of full length album (opinion of course). And you never know with Tool what they are gonna do in the future you would hope they would release additional songs or unreleased shit but nothing is guaranteed. Even the new album yeah date is set but man if I could get studio FLAC recordings right now...shit I dunno how high I would be willing to go
@Mog: thanks for the info about the recordings. Glad I ain’t missing out and thanks to who ever recorded the Birmingham show and did the audio clean up on it. I have been listening to those recordings on some good noise canceling headphones and just really fucking enjoy the new songs.
@hellboy: you are absolutely are correct I would pay $5 just for a studio version of those two songs right now. I guess you can say that Tool aren’t really in it for the money, right? Maybe? I guess there is album contract garbage that might be holding stuff back, but long story short I bought a new iPhone and lost all my Tool albums and best of live bootlegs because of it. Why can’t they just release their older catalog on iTunes/amazon/google play? I do have all my music on an external hard drive, but the fucker won’t work with my gf’s Sony PC. Making the long story longer by still typing about it and even longer by typing that and this. Well I am drunk and done. Haha.
