Apparently Andrea was set to survive the season, but they decided to kill her off when Laurie Holden made it clear she wanted out about halfway through the season. I guess she was getting death threats because of the character.
Yeah, I feel really bad for her. Unfortunately her character was just kind of written to be unlikeable, I guess. She was great in The Mist.

Another prison shoot-out where miraculously no one gets shot. Andrea keeps stopping to watch the zombie process, and then somehow forgets to kick/push him away from her. Rick brings everyone back to the prison rather than staying in Woodbury with all the food/supplies.
At least we got more Game of Thrones.

Andrea's dead!
The Governor is a fucking psycho.
Carl's an ice cold killa.
Old people in the prison=chance they die in their sleep and become walkers->Death.
Exactly...that's why it was messed up that Rick didn't tell everyone right away that when you die you turn, no matter how you die. Â They were living in the farmhouse with old man Hershel and was sleeping down on the couch. Â He could have died in his sleep and become Hershel Walker and tore that house up from the inside.

I never understood that. If they die they turn, but if they get bit they also turn? How does that work? If they already have the virus or whatever then getting bit shouldn't do anything. I mean they can't get more virus.Â
These answers seem to cover that question pretty good. Â You have the dormant version of the virus and the active version.

Actually, Lori Holden (Andrea) was dating the old show runner Frank Darabont and when he left, a few people wanted to leave out of loyalty to him. Â She is the last of that group to leave the show. Â This is the conversation I had with one of the former casting directors last night that frequents the bar we go to. Â He said she would probably end up on the next show he is working on.

Hahahaha yeah I kinda was. That one scene where it looked like he had finally died then he moves and is like "I'm not dead yet...." I was a bit bummed.
And like others have pointed out, why the fuck did Andrea keep just looking at Milton 1/2 the time instead of trying to pick up the pliers/get out of there.

Not overly impressed with the season finale.
Knowing the layout of the prison, they could've easily lured the Woodburians in to the tunnels & ambused them there. I mean, they did that, but stopped short of boxing them in & gunning them down!!? Instead, all they did is take a few pot shots at them from miles away. Lamest confrontation sequence I've seen in a while.
I was expecting the season to end with the the good guys taking over WB, setting that as the scene for the next season. But instead, the Guv lives on to fight another day... So I guess we've got a whole 'nother season of dragging out this prison v's Woodbury / Govenor thing. Sigh. So much scope for cool plot direction, so little of doing anything with it!
Ah well. Game of Thrones is back i suppose.
