Sounds of Isolation

Post by hellboy »

Hi All,

I'm putting together a Fourtheye Isolation playlist which I'll post about on the main blog. The idea is that Fourtheye regulars can submit one album of their choice for the list, the only real guideline being that it's from a somewhat "unknown" artist, and has been released in the last few years.

If you'd like to nominate something, let me know what it is, include a sentence or two of why you like it (hinting what the genre is helps too) and then a favorite track from the album.

Nominations close at the end of the week!

Thank You Scientist - Terraformer

Progressive rock / metal / jazzercise band from New Jersey and the lead singer is an absolute dream boat

Thanks Tyson - I should have probably added, but for now it's a Spotify playlist, so anyone I can't find there won't be included (I didn't see the above about, but perhaps my search mojo failed). Found it!

Redscale - Feed Them To The Lions.
Was the only album from my top 10 of 2019 that I could find on soundcloud.
Singer has a strong voice. Reminds me of Chris Cornell. Heavy riffs. Stoner Metal. Favorite track - Feed Them to the Lions.

Note that I said Spotify, not Soundcloud! I found it there no problems!

Even if you don't like the music the film clip is even better!

Also Fox Sports replayed the 1997 grand final today, so so good.

Haha i brought myself to re Watch it a few years back and as much as it hurt, have to agree it was a cracking game of footy. Shat all over broncs/ cows which to me gets all the wraps coz of the last 20 mins, where as 97 is a brutal absorbing game start to finish
