Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I got it! This is not my pic. This is a pic I took from Junior. (with his permission). This one is very special to me because I was there. Spectacular photo Junior. Now that I see it, it looks like you took it early in the morning. I don't know my north, south, east, west when in Vegas, but if it was in the evening, we would see a huge crowd.
Thanks for letting me share this pic Junior. Hope you are keeping busy during this down time.

It would have been around 8am the day before the show.Bobby Bottleservice wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 7:21 pm I got it! This is not my pic. This is a pic I took from Junior. (with his permission). Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Again, thanks for responding Junior. As long as you are visiting this site, I will keep having questions for you. Here is a good question for you. Do you know much about Masha Zaragan? She seems to be a very low key musician.
Masha Zaragan was the keyboard/synth player (or is) for Puscifer for the last couple of Puscifer shows I attended and she sang some of the backing vocals for these songs which were amazing. I looked her up and she is fucking amazing. There really is not too much information about her - (probably because she isnt very established in the music industry) Do you know much about her?? These are the 3 songs that makes me really lover her music. Her music is under the name UMNIFLUX.

I really don't know much about her. The first leg of the "Money Shot" tour was my last with Puscifer, so we didn't work together for very long.Bobby Bottleservice wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 7:46 pm Again, thanks for responding Junior. - You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Really excited for Adam on this. I do like the touch of having the neck pup turned around and the the bridge SD to not have the cover on it! As much as I'd love one, it will be way too expensive for me. Hopefully an Epiphone model for us common folk.

I figured it'd be hard to get some of the members to get on, let alone talk lol (Adam)

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
It was all fake. Danny and Justin were in a interview recently which is where all the content came from. Adam and MJK were not even in the interview. The "TOOL on ZOOM" thing was a fake mash up of the real Danny/Justin interview, mashed up with a clip from Adams instagram story, and an old interview with MJK.Whowatchesthewampas wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 6:35 am I figured it'd be hard to get some of the members to get on, let alone talk lol (Adam)

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Yea I know. I like that they just had Adam's instagram post on loop so it looked like he was moving. The MJK interview was from a few weeks ago, I think they were talking about Apocolyptical and Puscifer. I mainly meant if they actually did do a Zoom call, it would most likely be Danny and Justin talking, Maynard talking some, and Adam talking not at all. I guess that's why Danny and Justin always accept the awards!xZ1mM3r wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 7:57 amIt was all fake. Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
This Covid-time is so damn boring. Hopefully Tool will create a new album in the next few days...
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Like an EP would be cool.... or a lost track from number 8 Rietman.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
When FI came out i felt one more album could make it but then reality kicked in, that probably wont happen. an E.P would be great but even if its a new song here and there till they call it a day would be alright too. unless they are working on new material now like danny suggested might happen. haha
what a burn though, half way through the new album tour the world gets flipped upside down. oh well. ha. they shouldnt of took so long! not that im into that way of thinking with it but it did cross my mind kinda. time is of the essence as they say and they arent getting any younger at this point.
hope your doing well and being safe!

I feel the guys were just going to tour for the next 2 - 3 without thinking about new music at all but with this pandemic who knows?
Plenty of time to edit a live dvd or finally finish Opiate.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
a live dvd would be sweet but i dont see that happening till they are finished for good. isnt Opiate finished ? its just not released yet. one day. ha
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
wtf u talking about. there was no video back then for Opiate. its just bullshit anyway. go to the VIP and see half the video. just release the fn thing! blame adam. guys a snot.
hey, random fact. 13 years ago today i saw LOOT in hamilton. they played the kids in the hall song ''some days its dark' from that movie they put out forever ago.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Im just repeating myself here and of course Id welcome a new album in the unlikely event of it ever eventuating, but thematically, Im happy with FI being their last. From tortured young Maynard screaming his little heart out in opiate , to contemplating ageing, relevance, the world etc.. Seems a good final chapter for me.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
maybe ya, i could see them putting out a song here and there or an E.P like mr2-3pO said, whatever his name is. hahaBusty McCracken wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 2:56 am Im just repeating myself here and of course Id welcome a new album in the unlikely event of it ever eventuating, but thematically, Im happy with FI being their last. Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Granted I never saw it live, but am I the only one that found the extended version a total waste of fucking time that added nothing to the song?

You're not. But the bigger question is why even trying to add something to a song that was already finished decades ago?
I'm definitly not waiting for something like this, be it video, audio or whatever.
A live dvd/bluray, yes.
