OK, I see that's not your original work that got "recycled", but I guess it would have been nice to ask you about using it.

Creating video, animations etc. is my job, so I'm very careful with my own and other people's works.
If anything of mine gets used without permission, I might get very angry ;)

i said its fine but not when people try to make money off stuff they got for free.
Like your illegal footage? You want compensation for that?

Before I really used the interwebz, I did get stitched up and bought two bootleg DVDs. I'd never seen any tool live footage so thought I'd got myself a bargain , only when I finally started using the internet and YouTube etc did I realised I was ripped off. So I do get that part of what bobs saying

ya dude! i use to buy a lot of vhs tapes of bands (mostly Tool) at record shows in the late 90s. Lividz was a good source for that. Dude got a bit nervy and started putting the dvd logo on his cases and was selling lots. He got busted just before the internet basically put an end to buying stuff off scalpers like himself. He was friendly and all that but still scummy for being a seller. Its all we had back then so i know what your talking about. He made it in the Toronto Star,(newspaper) haha. The quote from the cops said they'd never seen anyone with as much as he had, lol. kinda funny though, not long after that he wouldn't of had as many to sell to most likely. my friend over heard him talking to someone once and heard him say ''bootleg is a dirty word'' haha.

so whos gonna buy one of these more affordable Adam Jones guitars ? i dont play but im sure someone will have both and do a comparison. i wonder how much diff it will be ? lighter wood im assuming etc etc. Im sure they will still be pretty good.

I don't know how the "new Gibson" is structured, but I'd guess the electronics would be mostly the same. Like you said, it'll probably be lighter and different wood. And a different headstock.
It looks like most of the current Artist models at Epiphone are under $1000.00.

I'd find it hard to say no to one, so long as it was under $2k locally. I've always wanted to add a LP style guitar to my collection, so this is a good chance

Go for it HB! But I bet you’ll have to be quick to snap one up.

I have an 80’s Mexican strat. As a bassist primarily, that is plenty for me for electric guitars. Definitely on the Strat side of LP vs Strat. I’ve always wanted an SG though…. Should we have a Show Me your Axe thread?

What about a show us ya. T...reasured possessions thread. (Get ya mind out of the locker room chat gutter)

That way it can be anything, instead of just guitars. Signed Lp's, tool blankets, tonka truck collection, barbie doll houses etc

- Never thought about it.
