Curious what “Early Venue Entry” means in the packages, a few songs in sound check or not even that anymore.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Presale for the European dates is tomorrow through ToolArmy. Nothing about a ToolArmy presale for the U.S. dates yet.
Curious about those packages though.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Hope to see you at at least one of those US shows next year Norm!
Those packages are just a money grab… I wish they would follow a different model, like NIN or Radiohead, but that’s never going to happen.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I just saw the Tour pre-sale update on Toolband.com:
"Tickets for all dates are on-sale this Friday, Oct. 1 at 10 am local time (UK and Irish dates are on-sale at 9 am local time). TOOLARMY members can purchase pre-sale tickets for European dates on Sept. 28 at 10 am local time (24 hour pre-sale window), while U.S. pre-sale tickets are available on Sept. 29 at 10 am local time (36 hour pre-sale window). A selection of exclusive packages, which include a pre-sale ticket, will also be made available to TOOL Army members on Sept. 29 at 10 am local time."
Definitely going to try to get to the Anaheim show, and possibly the show in San Francisco. If I was looking at the calendar correctly the SF show is on a Sunday, so it's very possible.
So Long, and Thanks for All the Tool.

You're in Germany?
Or you just want to visit?

Email reply I received from TA support in regards to the packages.
“ Thanks for reaching out! The early venue entry would get you access into the venue early but would not include experiences like watching sound check.
Let us know if you have any other questions!

see ya in Prague, bitches \[T]/
- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I remember the good ol' times when Tool came to Germany 2006.
You bought a ticket whenever you liked, you got to the venue an hour before entry and stood first row
in front of the stage.
That was my first concert ever and it kinda spoiled me
Not long after I saw Tool again in Oberhausen and it cost about 35,- , even cheaper...

Packages for US shows: https://toolband.com/packages/?omnisend ... 31f95d2be5
Confusingly, they all look the same, except for the price. I assume the differences are seating locations, but it would be nice if it were a bit clearer

Eight full days between Miami and Boston? That would be a bit unusual...
Any chance they'd hit up Atlanta, the Carolinas, or Nashville on their eight day trip to the Northeast?

@ Norm - hope you can make SF. 1/16 is a Sunday. I’m pretty sure I can’t make Anaheim unfortunately.
7empest? Hell yeah.

Maybe, I suspect most of the gaps in the tour plan would be for second shows in big cities. Unsure though if Miami or Boston are traditionally towns that sell strongly enoughunclejackson wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 4:03 pm Eight full days between Miami and Boston? That would be a bit unusual...

Well, you've got your work cut out for you then. Go on...off you go. Find out.

Planned break. Similar to the 5-day one between Dallas and Atlanta in early 2020 last time.unclejackson wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 4:03 pm Eight full days between Miami and Boston? That would be a bit unusual...

Unlikely to see them play more than 3 nights in a row anymore, so a 2nd Miami is out.hellboy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 7:48 pmMaybe, I suspect most of the gaps in the tour plan would be for second shows in big cities. And filling any gaps to make a 5 in a row are extremely unlikely.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
From what i've heard Boston shows are usually pretty good along with Philadelphia. I see Junior answered but that reminded me of those two towns being you mentioned Boston. M lived there for awhile too if you remember so maybe thats partially why. No Canadian dates! i didnt think so but then i started doubting that. oh geeze.hellboy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 27, 2021 7:48 pmMaybe, I suspect most of the gaps in the tour plan would be for second shows in big cities.
