Best Movies of 2022

Post by ms2r »

Lets go with this one as well...

The Batman
Prey
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
The Gray Man
Top Gun: Maverick
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio
Men
Thor: Love and Thunder
Slumberland

Didn't see the Northman or Everything everywhere at once. I saw most movies last month so I could actually make a 2022 list, rest of the year didn't focus in watching many movies. Much less than previous years.

The Banshees of Inisherin is the best movie of the year.

Everything everywhere all at once was decent , but thought it was still a bit overrated myself.

Bullet train was a tarantino , guy Ritchie wanna be style movie with poorer execution but still worth a watch .

Avatar 2 was worth a visit to the movies. Like the first one, not exactly a ground breaking story but still enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

They're the only ones I remember outside of any other movies already listed.

Better call saul & andor tie for best tv shows for me but saying that they're the only ones i watched 🤣

Deviating from the Movies bit...but hats off to the Star War spin offs which I managed to catch up over the festive period. Way better writing than the last SW movies. Andor seemed to have gotten a mixed bag of feedback but thought it was pretty decent!

Andor was great, I haven't heard many criticising it. Obi-wan was pretty decent as well I thought. I enjoyed them both more than the Mandalorian and Book of BF

I liked the light sabre duel in Obi-Wan. And Andor was indeed really good.

Also, saw last week, Everything Everywhere all at once was really good. And I have to put the Menu on the list. Fingerlicking good.
