That Revocation album is excellent, but I prefer Existence is Futile personally (I'm not neccessarily saying we should limit this to 1 album per band though).

Anyway, I'll add Revocation to the list shortly

Giza - Future Ruins
http://giza.bandcamp.com/

Doom/Sludge/Instrumental? I'm no good at subgenre definitions. It's heavy and it's great.

Please second Mouth of the Architect's latest. That Album MUST be on the list. Oh and the new Pelican album as well.

Will check out Giza

Christ yes to both of those. Do those even need an actual seconding?

Yes, everything needs seconding. Personally I'm taking the attitude that I'll only second something I think is great, and both the Mouth of the Architect and Pelican albums rate on the "ok" part of the scale for me.

As usual I don't agree with Hellboy on any level. Any decent album is worth a second. Odds are someone else will enjoy the hell out of it, which is kind of the point. We want to expose people to as much good music as possible.

Besides this is a guy that listens to grindcore, post-punk/DIY and trash, uh, i mean thrash. Trying to process the brilliance that is MOTA or Pelican is beyond him. The fact that he seconded Russian Circles and Rosetta was a small miracle.

No, it shows that I actually listen carefully and process each album, rather than just nominating it because it is a certain style or genre.
