I've got a 10 year old. I took him and his buddy last weekend. It was OK. Don't believe the hype.

Started watching Rick and Morty, highly recommended, it's like Futurama but more twisted.

Plus Dan Harmon.

Watching Rules of Engagement.

Anyone else watch this show? At the surface it was a very cut-and-paste looking but it's got some pretty funny stuff.

I'd call it underrated but it did last 7 seasons.

I've never seen Rules Of Engagement, but from commercials it seemed pretty formulaic and predictable. One of many in a stream of forgettable sitcoms. There are too many quality shows I haven't yet consumed for me to go there.

That's exactly what I thought of it as well until a buddy of mine recommended it. He watches pretty much the same shows as me so I gave it a shot. It's not at all what I thought it was.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying its ground breaking or anything, but its good for those 30 minutes when nothing else is on (to repeat what Tyson said)

see man, fuck that shit. I'm watching it tonight. I got two bad reviews from these dudes I work with who's opinions I respect. I thought my bullshit meter was going off a little. I think they got piss drunk and passed out during it a little bit. you know movies, I gotta see it now. how the fuck do you put those heavyweights together with Ridley at the helm and come up short? that's impossible. thanks Tyson.

Be careful of my opinion, it was very dialogue heavy which I loved, I will be rewatching this weekend which I rarely do.

People have already called me out on liking it, fuck them.

Ah, another Cormac McCarthy movie. Might be worth a shot, even though it has Cameron "I'm Actually A Foot" Diaz in it.

Most hated The Counselor. Here's a defense of it by a film writer I enjoy reading:

With this cast and director it could have been much better. The plot sucked ass, it was easily predictable, and I'm sorry but Cameron Diaz is fucking horrible. With that said there were a few good scenes such as Brads decapatation, and the phone call the dude had with El Jefe. I am a fan of dialogue, which held me on to actually finish the movie. Was cool to see Dean Norris and John leguizamo , but disappointing it was for a brief moment with absolute no value. Overall 3 outta 5 for me and no rerun.

very enjoyable. the Bruno Ganz scene was worth the entire movie in my opinion. Michael Fassbender is evolving rapidly. well done Sir Ridley, well done.
