If there is one song I want to see them play live it is Jimmy.
It's rare to find someone who is as big a fan of that song as I am.
You rock.

Jesus that video is almost 20 years old, no lasers, no video backdrop, no keeping the audience at arms length just the band playing fucking music and May May death staring the crowd in a cathartic manner as he sings his soul out.
Shame he's such a pussy now, oh I can't sing certain songs now, it's too painful, fuck off.
You were singing about getting raped for years.

Catching up on the past 10 or so pages of this thread have been freaking fantastic. Thank you all who've participated. Many cackles, giggles, and head nods of agreement on my end.

Some observations/questions:
1) See what happens when Mog takes a breather? We all remember how frustrated we are and vent ourselves. Mog is the FourthEye release valve.
2) Where the fuck was Children to defend his/her/it's Precious?
3) Who here would pay $500 to watch Adam read this entire thread aloud to an audience of 100?

@Kittaan and Cheeser - Legitimate Laugh out Loud Thanks fellas
My grudge days are behind me. For you fellow old schoolers who are still in to this Tool shit I really hope there is a light at the end of this 8/9 year tunnel. I hope you get an album worth all those years of waiting.
As always....Fuck Tool....Fuck Puscifer....Fuck Tyson
Good day

We all know this is NOT Moggies last goodbye.
I almost went with Buckley for my AOTW, but I know many on here are already well familiar. One of my all time faves.

No more grudging from me. I hate Tyson more than Tool though so bicker traffic is sure to pick upKittaan wrote:We all know this is NOT Moggies last goodbye.

And for the love of God never go with Buckley for anything. Especially not you. I hold you to a higher musical standard.

Re: The Grudge (contains SPOILERS)
Holding onto hate is unhealthy. Mog is making a step towards becoming a better person.
Jeff Buckley's first album was pretty good. Nothing low in standards about it. It's certainly not within the spirit of the album of the week in my opinion. Possibly Classic Album of the Week.

Re: The Grudge (contains SPOILERS)
Kit or Tyson? I am not in the album of the week deal any longer. We old folk all have strong opinions about what we think about music so AOTW seems a bit pointless now. I am going to start my own thread and post shit on the reg. Going to pimp out as much good music as possible with the hopes of attracting the lurkers to view. Many smaller bands about that are superb and deserve as many mentions as possible.liz wrote:Mog did s listen to his pick?M0G wrote:No more grudging from me. Kittaans, I was being amusing I thought. I have obviously missed out on this album of the week concept and I probably have no wish to sit through whole albums I don't like but I do appreciate anyone posting something I may not have heard. It's the reason I decided to come and play again really.

Re: The Grudge (contains SPOILERS)
Oh and on the smaller bands definitely. I am primarily driven by the live experience and that means seeing quite a few young, and not so polished bands, but they can bring a passion that you can't get any other way. I also love supporting Aussie music and will be seeing quite a few in the next few weeks. I'll post them and they will probably be dismissed but I know what they bring because I stand in front of them.
