TOOL Issue of Revolver
TOOL Issue of Revolver
I just found this, thought I'd share it in case there were others like me who had never managed to get their hands on a copy.
I did a search of the forum but didn't see this anywhere - apologies if it's already been posted.

Re: TOOL Issue of Revolver
We could join hands and make it an AOTW winner prize? Obviously not this time 'round, but once said prize has been decided, we're sure to liven up this bitch.hellboy wrote:I happen to have a copy which will be one of the prizes for a subscriber giveaway happening soon!
O love will you read the letters I will send to you.

Not against the idea, but given that there are only six of us taking part, and I'd hazard to guess a several of us already own it, I'm not sure it'd hold much value to the competitors. I am open to their thoughts though.
That said, I have some Amazon credit I get from time to time from you guys buying stuff from Fourtheye referal links that I'd be happy to give as a prize.

Yeah, no, I meant if you announce this as the prize AND THEN encourage people to take part in the next round of H2HAOTW - well, the fun that could be had, eh.hellboy wrote:Not against the idea, but given that there are only six of us taking part, and I'd hazard to guess a several of us already own it, I'm not sure it'd hold much value to the competitors. Haven't had a good ol' fashioned FE comp for a while, so anything is cool.

1st Ed copy?hellboy wrote:I happen to have a copy which will be one of the prizes for a subscriber giveaway happening soon!
My house got broken into 2 years ago and they stole my safe with all my small memorabilia in it (including my mint 1st ed.)
Insurance paid for replacement, but all that is available easily and cost effectively is the 2nd ed they released. 2nd ed has two covers. Lateralus Guy and 10K days stock photo.

Does subscribing make the times on the forum work correctly?

I'm a subscriber and I've never gotten the times to work right. I just figure they are nearly a full day ahead of me in central time.HarrySeaward wrote:Does subscribing make the times on the forum work correctly?

Don't confuse him. The Platinum VIP Level is the only package that includes the time change option. Not Tyson wrote:No that's the VIP Package

At Platinum VIP level I personally fly in (first class at your expense) and tell you what the time is.

The fact that this is even an issue for some people completely blows my mind.HarrySeaward wrote:Does subscribing make the times on the forum work correctly?

Yeah I don't notice too much. Except when I check 4E during my work day... It always seems to fall right around midnight on the forum, so I have to do a few double takes to see when something was actually postedThe Boss wrote:The fact that this is even an issue for some people completely blows my mind.HarrySeaward wrote:Does subscribing make the times on the forum work correctly?

I must be the only person who ONLY clicks "Unread" in order to stay up to speed.

I click unread.
I've also got the time to within half an hour of my real time.
It helps to know what time I made a post at night.

Why would literally anyone need to know that? Not Tyson wrote:I click unread.

Because if it's past 10 I really shouldn't be up.

Some miss time. The time I miss is that time I planted thyme then Blind Melon's "Time" played randomly on the record player.
It revolved around night time; I think.

I don't think it's so unreasonable to wish the time settings on the board weren't 15 hours and 16 minutes ahead somehow.
