From r/toolband: The website recently posted a picture of Danny visiting Bob Ludwig in Maine. He then made a comment about Lobsters in the spring. I don't know how many of you remember this but, whenever a Tool album is finished being mastered the band goes out for a celebratory lobster dinner in Maine. By all accounts, this photo should indicate the album is almost completely finished.

The closer was brought in to finish the work, whom I believe was Evil Joe, who was later confirmed working on something via Adam's instagram picture (video hint) - A what would be a Jam - New Opiate part, which is interesting because Danny mentioned they were working on a video for that song, AND this was also brought up in the recent newsletter.

is that still their number 1 track of all time? not much debate. maybe Lateralus, but I'm going with Schism for sure. even old school prog rockers from the 60's and 70's sweat that song. I bridge the gap with that one at family get togethers.
