I'm more curious why they keep pushing this "Think Differently - Psilicon Valley" t-shirt every few weeks. Is Danny that desperate to sell it? Is this shirt some kind of clue as to the content/release of the new album or curveball? Or is it just supposed to be ironic that they talk about silicon valley and technological revolution because their website design is 14 years old?
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I suspect Danny isn't the recipient of most of the proceeds from that shirt.

It's a pun, and the dude loves mushrooms. That's pretty much the long and short of it.DinosaurAct86 wrote:I'm more curious why they keep pushing this "Think Differently - Psilicon Valley" t-shirt every few weeks. I wonder what Danny has done to his leg?
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
It shattered into peices when his 2000 pbm double bassdrum solo erupted for a new tune.

While certainly an interesting read, it is quite depressing that yet another month has gone by and there is not even the slightest indication that they are even working on this album anymore.MobileVortex wrote:Newsletter is up.

Yep. It's as if "new album" is a dirty word around these parts.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I doubt it's a dirty word at all. How many times can Blair say "they're working on the new album". People would likely complain if he said that too. Let face it, the only statement that wouldn't garner complaints would be "the album will be out in February" and I bet even that would still get a few dirty remarks.
Blair is taking the correct path in not saying anything in my opinion.

I guess it's cool that they're recycling all of those tour t-shirts, but I've gotta say... those blankets are hideous. Sorry, Blair. No $200 from me.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
If there is going to be no news on the album or curve ball, how hard would it be to post a video or two of a couple of songs they recorded for the DVD which is obviously never coming out. Maybe just a... "hey, thanks for sticking it out with us through years of nothingness... we are working on the new album, but to tide you over, here is a 1 minute clip of a new jam in the loft" or "here is Third Eye in Atlanta, pro shot, soundboard." I'm just saying, it would be a nice gesture instead of pimping a blanket of used tshirts.
