So the word around the place is that Guns n' Roses will headline Coachella with the partially original lineup: Axl, Slash, Duff + Matt Sorum and presumably one of Axl's cronies on rhythm guitar. While Axl is well past his prime it seems, there is a part of me that is quite excited by this.

GnR was my first favorite band and I still really like Appetite and the Illusions, but this doesn't excite me at all.

Appetite is ok. But Use Your Illusion is bloated and self-indulgent and the fact that there's two of them only compounds the awfulness.

Other than a few tracks I agree the yellow one is bloated. Coma is bad ass. I still really like the vast majority of the blue one.

Use Your Illusion is definitely bloated, but take the best from each and you have a pretty kick ass album.

Anyway, I doubt they will tour Adelaide, since apparently they're asking $3 million a show, and I'd be quite unlikely to travel to see them.

i saw axl's band in 2011, and i left impressed with his effort and voice. obviously it wasnt 90's voice but it was good. one of the loudest shows ive ever been to.
