Yeah that's really shitty.
On a positive note... the Justin Chancellor remix of Simultaneous is WONDERFUL.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
OK, I fixed it. Would have been easier if you both didn't QUOTE the original link

Wonder if this is A one-off similar to what they did in summer 2012, or part of another US mini tour.brewdog123 wrote:http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/12/e ... l-in-2017/

I think it's unlikely to be just one show - a mini tour would be the most likely scenario I guess (I don't see the next album being at a point ready to tour by then).Krazy_blah wrote:Wonder if this is A one-off similar to what they did in summer 2012, or part of another US mini tour.brewdog123 wrote:http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/12/e ... l-in-2017/

Well, APC is supposedly touring then (or around then) so I dunno. Not sure how much The Nard wants to be on the road after Puscifer, then APC. Wouldn't be shocked if it's only a few festival dates to grab some coin.hellboy wrote:Krazy_blah wrote:Wonder if this is A one-off similar to what they did in summer 2012, or part of another US mini tour.brewdog123 wrote:http://consequenceofsound.net/2016/12/e ... l-in-2017/

Touring money is what pays the bills these days I'm guessing. And any royalties from previous years. No one in the band seems like a moron so I'm guessing they invest somewhat wisely rather than going to the titty bar every night and spending $100k for rims on the Escalade.Calfium Jay wrote:Wow!! - You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

I can't decide if that is supposed to be funny or just pure clickbait. It's just the recent newsletter copy and pasted.

Other Amanita theories: The Ambrosia wine made from the mushroom (after the muscimol conversion) could've been what Jesus had formed from "water into wine", as I myself can attest to the fact that the more water you mix with this wine, the more the effects of it are perpetuated.
And Indiana Jones might've been right about the Holy Grail being a wooden cup, as wood is porous unlike gold, and drinking the wine in a porous cup, unwashed over long periods of time (likely in ancient times) allows the mycelium to grow in the pores of the cup, and hence gives you "wine" when you pour in "water".

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Strange for sure. Some decent hip-hop acts there but none I'd actually pay to see. Tool looks kind of out of place.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I must be getting old. Besides Tool I've only heard of 2 bands on that entire list.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Tastes vary of course, but this is one of the best looking festival lineups I've seen this year so far. That's not saying much though, as, for my own personal taste, festivals are starting to make me feel like an old "get off my lawn!" dude. But... Tool, Royal Blood, Phantogram, Wu-tang, Danny Brown, Charles Bradley (this guy is fucking awesome), are all acts I'd love to see. Plus... you're in NYC so, no shortage of awesome shit to do surrounding the festival itself.

I'm with Joey. Some good artists on that bill and everyone he mentioned above are great. I will not do another festival in my life though. Done.

Free VIP (or above) passes will get me in a festival. That's about it.
