I know right?! Don't they know I have feelings too? The Metal Sucks comments have been the best so far though.
It'll be old news soon enough, as the next rumor is just around the corner. The announcement of the Special Guest should be a welcome diversion as well.
Thanks for the support guys and gals!!! If you need me I'll be reading that Batman comic book I've been hearing so much about.
that comic book is alot of hype, evryone said it was gonna be killer, but its pretty evident that the artist didnt take it serious.
I'm curious if Crystal Method is just DJing each show or if they're doing their full live show. Both are really great, assuming you're OK with electronic dance music. Should be a real test of the whole "Tool fans often treat openers like shit" thing, although I feel like that's really lessened over the years.

^ Zero fucks given. The only Tool news I am interested in would be an announcement that they are hitting the studio to record a new album. Until such time they are, for all intents and purposes, dead to me as a band.

Harsh.... I get what you are saying, but in many ways I also get MOG.
I just wish they would get this album done so we could be talking about it and enjoying new music... Oh well back to the beers and footy have a good weekend all....
Funilly enough Tools music has proven once again to be the master at creeping up on people. I've been with my other half 3.5 years & while she didnt mind rock acts like incubus etc, bands such as Tool were way off her radar deemed as too angry and too heavy.
After 12 months she started digging puscifer.... 2 years a perfect circle wore her down and then about 6 months aho she has become obsessed with Aenima. Is funny how many times over the years I've seen people flat out dislike the band only to wind up loving em.
I heard most of Aenima/ Undertow early on & enjoyed it, but it was still a bit out of my scope. Bought lateralus after its release & it sat on a shelf for about 5/6 months. After coming back to it a few times something finally clicked & I was there. Quickly became my favorite piece of music & fell deep for most everything they've released. I understand about taking a few spins to fall for a particular band or album.
Adam recently posted (edit: on his Facebook today) a sort of "raw" version of the tracks he recorded for Isis' track "Hall of the Dead." It's really cool to be able to hear more directly what Adam did specifically. They're quite beautiful and a departure from what you normally hear him do.
A co-worker just pointed me to the lyrics for the title track on Money Shot and discussed how it's not too much of a stretch to interpret them as being about mjk's frustration with the guys regarding the snail's pace of progress on the upcoming album. I'm not entirely sure it's accurate, but I thought it was pretty interesting and it makes me wonder if he'll work through some of these meta issues in the new work.
