When you know full-well that the cirucmstances leading up to the mistake will result in just that.

An honest mistake is one where you are unaware of the various factors and circumstances.

So, in terms of accidents: Spilling someone's beer at a pub, while a bit clumsy, is an honest mistake - in that you're probably drunk and have no idea what's going on.

Leaving your baby in the car on a hot summer day so you can go gambling for a few hours would be a dishonest mistake.

Glad we could clear this up.

I managed to get 2 for Sunday but no luck with Friday. I'm waiting for prices to drop also.

"Trent Reznor's revived incarnation of Nine Inch Nails have signed to Columbia Records and will release a new album later this year.

Reznor's other project, How to Destroy Angels, is also signed to Columbia.

In a press release, Reznor said, "I've been less than honest about what I've really been up to lately. For the last year I've been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great. This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again. My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place. Here we go!â€

Pretty fucking interesting.Â I gotta say it was a cool change of pace for him to do this, rather than updating the fan base constantly and at times not delivering the news when he said it would (shit happens, I get it).Â Makes me more excited about the tour now... and has the backing of a label to pay for some of the show where recent years it had to come out his own pocket.

A cause for mild interest. He hasn't done anything even remotely good since "WITH TEETH".

Luckily for him, his output before that album was nothing short of spectacular, so he'll always be able to command a certain level of respect.

As for the Tool comparison, its not a good or fair one. NIN is basically a dictatorship while Tool is a complete democracy.

I believe the dictatorship part has changed as he and Atticus are quite inseperable now. Atticus' presence towards the end of NIN definitely impacted the sound... but in a good way. However, I do agree with you that it's not a fair comparison. Trent and Atticus are a left and a right and have been continuously working together for years now. Whereas... TOOL just get together to jam a few shows and then scatter again.

If it's not a 10 it's not released but Atticus doesn't put out less than 10 work and sometimes is left to his own devices when Trent gets frustrated and takes breaks. Atticus has more weight behind him than most would think. Can't wait to hear what they've done. This is unforseen and quite a treat considering I've been anticipating so few albums in recent years.

The revived band is heading out on tour starting this summer.Â As reported, the touring NIN lineup will include Reznor, Adrian Belew of King Crimson, and Josh Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv, as well as previous NIN collaborators Robin Finck, Alessandro Cortini, and Ilan Rubin. UPDATE: Belew is not part of the touring band. He just contributed to the album.

Nothing has been confirmed about Adrian from the NIN camp.

I'm hoping with this single Trent can shed light on what's going on with that, and release the tour dates.
