I don't know why I keep trying to play Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning; it's fucking boring as all hell.

I decided to play Mirror's Edge again and so I decide to continue my previous playthrough and man do I blow it so hard. Ran off a roof twice in less than a minute.

I think I've already mentioned it, but dying in this game is one of the most surreal experiences. How much do you really feel it?

Also, start again. And use a 360 controller.

I find it hard to peel myself from "SKYRIM" once I'm playing games, but this is one thing I'll happily do.

Picked up Batman: Arkham Asylum: Game of the year edition, Bioshock: Infinite and Darksiders today.

Don't know what to start first, still have to finish Midnight City though.

Batman is the best of the three, followed very closely by Bioshock. Darksiders is ok.

If I had to chose, should I buy "FALLOUT 3", with its dodginess with getting it to work on Windows 7, or "TOMB RAIDER"?

I might actually download one of them now while I watch "PENNY DREADFUL". God bless "card drops" or whatever they are on Steam. I have literally scored nearly US$6 worth of credit from selling imaginary shit.

Fucking "FALLOUT 3" crashes. I hope tweaking the ini fixes this shit. It crashes every thirty minutes.

Did the (common) ini fix. All good now!

No mods. I was prepared to install some graphics mods, as I was of the understanding that it was an old(ish) game; but it looks unreal. I have it playing vanilla perfectly at 60fps on Ultra.

This is fine.

It's a bit more approachable than "NEW VEGAS" so far, but it's only been five hours. I love it.

F3 is a cool game. Definitely has a more serious tone to it, and despite some dreary subway sections, i found the level design to be pretty good. The story writing is NV is better though, but at the same time a little too flippant for my liking.

I thoroughly enjoyed both though, and would have a hard time picking a favourite.

I'd probably agree if I'd played New Vegas before 3.

Anyway, gaming PC is awaiting a new hard drive, so back to console gaming for a while. Time to finish off GTAV.

I preferred New Vegas myself. I liked that the main quests would guide you towards side quests. Fallout 3 doesn't really do that.

Prototype 2. Nobody really talks about this game anymore, but it is a lot of fun.

But do you get rewarded in "F3" for going off on a tangent? As in, do you get given side missions because you chose to explore way away from the main mission?

I don't think at this point I'm too worried about an open-world game with few missions. After "SKYRIM" and "NEW VEGAS", it would be nice to kind of have a main mission and just do that for once.

You only really get side missions by exploring off the main path.

Well, she kept trying to kill me. The way I see it, if I'm going to bother concentrating on "Speech" like I did with "New Vegas", I'm damn well going to use it.

And it's not like I'm ever not going to play it again.

It was like my fifth time play through that I finally finished that quest.

Not that I actually finished the game 5 times. Only saw the credits once. It's just that those character are so hideous that I kept trying to make a normal looking fellow. Also I'm terrible at specing characters.
