Without going to Google (for which I'm far too lazy right now) I don't have specifics to back this up, but this is widely acknowledged.
did you watch the Shockers/Kentucky game? I did. every second. you can tell this kid Early is NBA ready. he's a two way player who knows how to use his body, runs the court very well. he can step back and hit 18 footers, post game, blocks shots, hits his 3pts and freethrows. plus he was guarding Randle for 80% of the game. he held him to 13 points and then took over the 2nd half. very mentally tough as well. he doesn't need to add muscle or anything, plus he's a senior. I was very impressed by Wichita State's effort. Kentucky and UCONN were better than at least 10 NBA teams this year. NCAAF is a little different. Alabama were monsters and they'd still have issues beating the Jacksonville Jaguars. basketball is a lot different when it comes to College vs Pro talent.

True.
I hope he will be less clutch with his play calling. I have a feeling the zen master will be micro managing fish big time. Big plus for the knickerbockers, bad news for the rest of the league. With that said, if you don't bring melo back with some assistance it will all mean nothing. Good start with your draft pick though.

The worst pro team is still better than the best college team. Argue it all you want but every single guy in the pros was drafted. Not every guy from the best college team will get drafted. Nba is far more fast paced. Guys are bigger and stronger.

I'm shocked that Wade is opting out of his deal. Dude isn't ever getting anywhere near 20 mill a year ever again. I guess that means Lebron ain't going anywhere.

Exactly my thoughts. He had the best deal he will get and he opted out. He's not getting that back even with Miami. I guess it was to restructure deals and free up cap space and try to rope in some free agents

yeah this is all hoolpa. Melo and James are staying exactly where they were last season. as a very long suffering Knicks fan I'm surprised they are building from the ground up for once. new GM, President and head coach. plus this is youngest team I've ever seen in NY.
PG - Shane Larkin (21 yeard old)
PG - Toure' Murray (24 years old)
SG/SF - Iman Shumpert (24 years old)
SG/SF - Tim Hardaway Jr. (22 years old)
SF - Cleanthony Early (23 years old)
SF - Thanasis Antetokounmpo (21 years old)
PF/C - Cole Aldrich (25 years old)
PF/C - Jeremy Tyler (23 years old)

According to espn Lebron wants a max deal this time. I don't know if that helps or hurts this post.

This has the potential to be a VERY heavy duty off season for FA and deals. I have a feeling the new CBA will put a damper on some of the more creative possibilities, but looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
The Warriors alone have been rumored to be exploring trades for Love, Pau, Frye, Parsons and of course LeBron. Depending on what we have to give up, I am more than a little interested.

The courting of Lebron James. Come on ESPN. It's just a load of shit. We all know LBJ isn't going anywhere. Dwade and bosh will sit still and get paid less to accommodate James. The man child wants his big pay day now!! An most likely they will get another top FA.
Interesting to see where Gasol lands. Melo is staying in NY.!$$ talks baby

Bosh would be an absolute moron to take a vastly reduced contract. Unlike the other two his outside income can not make up a significant difference.

^ bosh is a moron. But he knows he will not win anywhere else, he needs his "leader" to look after him and guide him to more rings. Still over rated IMO.

Bosh is a tranny. I hope those dicks do stay together. I'm also really hoping they recruit a 4th loser, like Melo. I love watching the Heat fail.

Bron Bron is back to Cleveland.
Which, as I understand, will now mean the Rockets will be stacked.
If Bosh signed before Parsons that'd mean the Rockets could match the Mavs offer. Bosh was apparently down to Rockets or back to Miami.
