I actually thought FORKSFORKNIVES was really fucking good.
That's not a real band name, is it?

Watching Twin Peaks again - after dropping $150 on the bluray box set.
If you don't like The Peaks you were either born at the wrong time (ie AFTER 1982..) or you are just plain ignorant.
A tv sitcom about a murdered high school beauty queen in a sleepy logging community that is really (in essence) a study on the occult.
Thankyou Mr Lynch.

I must admit this does look interesting. Will check it out upon availability.

Saw that The Birdcage was on TV, I dropped everything (hee hee) and watched it.
Choking back tears at some parts but loved rewatching it for the most part.
It was always one of my fav Robin Williams comedies, it's a fucking classic, only a fucking faggot would think otherwise.
Also I always give a chuckle at the fact Nathan Lane came out a few years later, really?
He was a standout in that film.

Watched Skyfall earlier. I'm not a huge James Bond fan but I love that movie.

Just blasted through the first season over the last week.
Highly recommended, can't really even say what it's about without spoilers, eh a huge conspiracy involving a comic book.
EDIT: Visual novel.
Probably the best thing I've watched since Breaking Bad.
Dark as fuck but with comedic undertones, fair comparison.
But completely original, some of the best camera work I've seen for a tv show and a highly original music score.
Please don't watch.
Where is Jessica Hyde?
Yes I watched the first episode on the weekend and I'm in. The cinematography is stunning with beautiful use of colour (it reminded me of the work in The Grand Budapest Hotel).
Some of the most violent scenes I've seen in a while and absolutely original. Brits do it best!

I also went to see Guardians of the Galaxy. A good flick, very cheesy, very entertaining with some excellent special effects. The wrap around fighter craft were excellent.

I've just watched the first season of Rectify.
Probably the best American television show currently airing.
Shit, they spent 6 40 min+ episodes on basically 7 days of a family's life.
The tension of the whole thing is compelling to say the least.
An amazing snapshot of Americana.

Debatable.
While the UK series gave a great 2 seasons and specials the US series gave a great expanded universe into many characters and story arcs the UK series didn't.

I really hope that Simon Sees gets picked up for series. I would definitely watch it.
It was a bad idea leaving the Elvis costume out of the initial pitch.

Gotta say, I'm still pretty weirded out that you dig The Swell Season.
Just saw Glen solo a couple of weeks ago, and seeing Marketa solo in October. Very unlikely she will compare favorably as Glen had an incredible 12 piece band and she is probably going it alone with a piano. But I'm still looking forward to it.

[BBvideo 560,340][/BBvideo]Just watched the conclusion to the BBC drama "The honorable woman". A thought provoking and well acted series (except for Maggie Gyllenhaal whose monotone started to grate on me)- worth your time.
