It was OK, but didn't do much for me. If nobody had mentioned the Tool derivatives I'm not sure I would have gotten there, but I hear it. Don't think he sounds like Maynard and the song writing and musicianship on that tune are miles away from being Tool caliber. I actually heard more System of a Down influence than Tool.

The 20th Anniversary edition of In Utero leaked this morning, so I'm taking a listen to that. The new/old mix sounds pretty good, with quite a few subtle differences in the mix, as well as different guitar solos here and there. Albini had it right the first time!

Been following Parrot now since their e.p and I'd say if they keep up the same pace and intensity, within 5 years or 2 more album releases, King Parrot will deservedly wear the crown of the Kings of heavy metal. They're already definitely ruling the aussie scene, give em a few years, a few more albums and exposure and they'll rule the fucking world! GO HARD CUNTS!
