Fair enough.
It's just that the handwriting is always the first thing the "Kurt didn't kill himself" always use.
Anyone with half a brain shouldn't have a hard time believing that dude turned off his own lights.

I'm still surprised at people who scoff at the notion that Kurt was murdered.Ravenpig wrote:Oh boy here we go again with this crap.

I'm pretty sure that if I had a young kid, no matter how hard the circumstances, I wouldn't kill myself. And it was pretty obvious how overjoyed Kurt was to be a father.
The idea that Courtney killed Kurt is entertained by pretty much every single person who knew the two of them. That has to mean something.
O love will you read the letters I will send to you.
Re: Random Music News
People have that thought because she was already immensely hated before he died.
Kurt may have loved his kid but it was obvious he hated everything else about being alive.

Re: Random Music News
ANTEMASQUE is an American rock group formed in 2014 by former members of At The Drive-In and The Mars Volta, Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala. Some of their first tracks featured Red Hot Chili Peppers's Flea on bass and Dave Elitch on drums. Both Flea and Elitch had previously played with The Mars Volta. Despite initial reports to the contrary, Flea is not a member of the group but only played on a few tracks and let the band use his recording studio.
On April 9, 2014 the project was announced, and they released their first single "4AM" on the same day. Rolling Stone described the song as "a charging, punkish rocker with the sorts of squiggly noodling that both the Mars Volta guys and Flea have used as calling cards in their respective groups." The next day, the band released a second song, "Hangin in the Lurch", on their bandcamp page which is described as a mixed of progressive rock and punk rock. The song's description mentions that it will be released on an upcoming self-titled album. Their third single "People Forget" was released on April 11, 2014.[8] On April 15, the band released their fourth single, "Drown All Your Witches". The group's debut album, titled Antemasque, is scheduled to be released on July 15 on their own Nadie Sounds label.
I recommend 'Drown Your Witches' and 'People Forget'

In Addition, The Mars Volta will be re-releasing their catalog completely remastered starting with the Tremulant EP

TMV will also be releasing Deloused on Vinyl, remastered as well, gold repressing as we'll as a silver repressing (both LE) and then a standard black edition repress

What’s for dinner? M.E.A.T.! Looking for more Tomahawk to feed the belly? Fret no more hungry people. Turns out there are two extra tracks from their Oddfellows release, begging to see the light of day!
Tomahawk (Duane Denison, Mike Patton, John Stanier, Trevor Dunn) released Oddfellows, their first album in six years, in late January of 2013 with the album landing in the Billboard Top 100 and hitting #2 on the magazine's Hard Music chart as well as #9 on the Indie chart.
"M.E.A.T." will be released as a limited edition 7" on May 13th. The digital release is set for June 4. The only M.E.A.T. vegans can enjoy!

Re: Random Music News
Oddfellows was vastly superior to Anonymous - a good idea but one that was executed poorly. Vocals on that album seemed like an afterthought...
I struggle to remember even ONE track off that album.
But yeah, even still Oddfellows was way too short and sketchy. Though to be fair, the good tracks on Oddfellows were GOOD....really GOOD (especially Southpaw which sounded like Faith No More on steroids) however most of the other tracks seemed more like IDEAS for songs rather than actual songs! Too short and undeveloped. I listen to it now and think...OK, there's potential for a great song here, but it's over before it's barely even begun. Surely they could have worked it up to something a little more.............epic?
And I snigger now that I look back on all those interviews a year or so ago when Patton described Oddfellows as "our version of Pet Sounds".
?!?!?!?
