I am a little surprised they just didn’t go ahead and announce the name of the album and release date it would have been perfect timing. They gotta know the release date by now.
Yeah, you'd think so. The whole situation right now is kinda bizarre.
It’s Tool everything is bizarre
@Junior - Well done and congrats to your bosses for some amazing music can you now maybe bug em a little for us and squeeze a release date out? Do us a solid. You can tell em you want to shut up this obnoxious ass who has called them lazy for the last 7 years.
I won't wait for the record but I will wait until someone who knows what they are doing can isolate thew crowd and make the tracks sound as best as they can.
I'm on 2% battery coming back into civilisation again and holy fuck what a day!! 2 new songs. Hopefully by time I get home there'll be some better quality and I can listen to them for the first time.. Fuck yeh!
Well chuffed for anyone thst got to see those live and good on Tool for giving the fans at the show a couple of new songs. They both sound epic but its definitely very bitter sweet for me that we have to hear those shitty copies. Until they drop a single or the album the majority of people's first impression of their new stuff is shit youtube videos. Bizarre but you can tell the new stuff is going to be incredible.

Hopefully this happens in the next few hours.
Otherwise . . .
Some of the shorter clips are better quality tbf, I'd listen to one of two of those to get a taste then leave it.
Just back from a trip to the east coast for a graduation. Wow. I am glad the folks that showed up for the first live gig got the amazing experience of two new live tracks being debuted. What a rush it must have been. I gave them a taste, but I will wait (at least for now) to hear more. The little I heard sounds killer.
I watched the first videos and the quality was bad and i’m busy for the next couple of days so i can’t listen to the songs on my proper living room setup, i think i’m gonna wait for the single/album.
But i’d like to read the lyrics if anyone can help a brotha out.

Yeah, I'm done with those phone recordings. I've heard enough now, and the next time I hear those songs it'll be the recorded version.
I lied and have listened to this stuff a bunch of times since then, I'm unable to control myself. It's some good shit.
Descending is ok but not overly great. its sorta disjointed/off to me kinda. i liked the 2nd one much more on the first listen. Seeing things live can change things for the better so i wont hold it to Descending yet. its nice they are back with new tunes! and of course cant wait to hear the entire album front to back!
thanks to Junior too for posting info for us! too bad about some of your lights. dont blow a fuse!

Fuck Yeah!! They’re back fuckers. Can’t wait to hear the album as a whole but these two snippets are magical. DIFFERENT yet sooo familiar. Second song (warrior/invincible?) is heavy as fuck. It’s a great time to be alive bros/gals.

Yep same. Nonstop both songs are fucking incredible. Descending though my god it is a technical fucking gem. Invincible is amazing but Descending just blows my mind. Some of Adam’s best guitar work and Danny is on another planet I can’t believe he is almost 59 pulling this shit off.
yeah, that one is awesome Agreed about Danny at his age. I saw him play with the DCT at Stumpfest and he may be old but goddamn he can still lay it down like only a high grade magus can. The dude is a badass of the highest order. Some of those drum parts are just ludicrous :0
Just listened to descending. Not ashamed to admit that I cried.. twice. Gonna try hold off i can on invincible if I can. If it ends up being a 7 song album I'd like to try avoid hearing 30% of the album as a bootleg after all this wait.

So which two videos are the best?
I listened to the front row version. Coz he's in front of Adam justin is a little buried but overall wasn't bad and didn't have people talking much like people were complaining the other one had
