And feel free to google the meaning of that new title.

Disturbing- in a good, NIN way.

May I ask why everyone is so excited? Don't get me wrong - I fucking luuuurve NIN. Before "WITH TEETH".

He's changed, got older, as have I. I can't see how this is going to be any different from the crap he released after that album.

Really happy to be proven wrong, though.

You don't like the post Fragile stuff, fair enough your opinion.

Some of us do. No nothing since has been The Fragile level, bit imo 99% of albums ever made aren't either.

Fair enough?

Ugh why did I abbreviate "in my opinion"?

And by "99%" I mean albums I'VE heard.

You mean post-"WITH TEETH". I like that album.

Why are you comparing NIN albums to everything else? I'm comparing them to his own catalogue, and, post-"WT", they fucking blow.

Whatever. Opinions and taste, etc.

Excited - not especially. I agree with your comments regarding his recent work (I like With Teeth though)

Interested is a more accurate term.  It could be a decent album, and there's only one way to find out.

Year Zero is my favourite NIN album, I loved the entire concept behind that album, but I was never really into him, I find his lyrics atrocious and feel cheated that I actually paid money for With Teeth

Well, the track as ok.  Not sure it indicates a return to the bands early sound despite what the article says...

At this stage my expectation is that the album will be no better than Year Zero.

1.  You realize that this is the album that most people (it's my guess, before anyone jumps on me.  I believe it to easily be the most  hated of NIN albums) think is his worst, right?

2.  You got me there.  I have no idea why I made a comparison that had nothing to do with your question.

3.  You answered your own original question.

Cool, I guess.

As usual, I look forward to being proven wrong. I hope this album kicks major ass.

I hope so too.  It just dawned on me that it's been 5 years since an NIN album was released.

The new song is ok, nothing earth shattering, but it's a decent start.

The Hand That Feeds is easily his worst song, worse than anything on The Slip.  "Deep" is also worse than anything on The Slip.

The Slip is pretty good in my opinion, except for tracks 6-9 which just drag forever.

And hey, he gave it away for free.

I'll defend Corona Radiata and The Four Of Us Are Dying. They make for some interesting white noise.

you are so wrong on every level of your post. my opinion is so much better than yours!

also, he gave it away because he knew his 3 hours put in were a complete waste and the album sucked too much to charge for it.

Well, that NIN song that was posted was the worst thing I've heard this year. If ever he needed a reason to get back on the drugs, this would be it.

Wait, wait.  You insinuated The Slip is bad, then I sort of agreed on tracks 6-9, then you disagreed with that...

Pete LOVES THE SLIP!!!
