Of all things, I’m stoked to see the new wordmark logo for this album. Serifs, slab, stylized font, it’s all so exciting :)

Wingdings.

What better way to hide all those hidden secret messages, curve-balls, obscure sequences, and decoy album confirmations.

I hope the print will be large, in keeping with the needs of their aging audience.

haha, well the lyrics are pointing that way along with Blairs newletters and FB group posts about health conditions.

the comic idea seems legit. M with more colour. the lights and video stuff for Invincible is quite colourful. coincedence ? maybe, maybe not.

@random redditor - tldr fuck packaging fuck plastic discs and fuck Tool for further delaying a process that has already been so ridiculously delayed that it would be comical if it wasn’t so fucking pathetic.

Unfortunately I am a weak minded fool because as soon the album becomes available I will be ready to purchase. No matter what I think about how Tool conduct themselves professionally bottom line they make insanely good music. Descending and Invincible are absolutely fantastic.

Remember when Mog complained about Tool for the past 10 years and said he would never ever ever ever give them another chance as they were complete cunts only to become their biggest fan boy when they started playing new music?

Yep it is pretty fucking sad I am disgusted with myself. If only those two new goddamn songs weren’t so fucking good. This would have been infinitely easier if they sucked.

Oh well

Haha , in fairness, sure it was long but from what i remember of it , it wasn't overly fan boyish or anything?. Brother had some shit to get off his chest, I say let him go. The more posters on here the better , no point chasing em off as soon as they get here

^ yeah but there’s a reason I prefer this forum to reddit. Over-saturation is a forum killer. Until TA comes back (el oh el), this is all we got!

There's about 4 people at Toolnavy who still discuss Tool. On a good day one of them might post.

Just back from Berlin. Took 12 years to see the guys live again...

It was a nice show, but somehow it didn't feel right for me. The setlist felt like it was just puzzled, there was no build up of tension, just one song following the next.
What really got me was "Intolerance" (!)

Anyway, if they come back (hopefully in less than 12 years), I will be back first row.

I get ya, maybe cos it is kind of a greatest hits tour? Hopefully it will feel more cohesive when they do the album tour.

Found a decent flight to Vienna and tickets were still available on ticketmaster so I'm off tonight - will report back on the socks and pyramid.
