So, I feel like a fuckwit. I was literally thirty seconds away from the exit in "FALLOUT 3". Grabbed the dish, screen-capped the view, rocked on like a boss. Did that a few nights ago.

This game is amazing.

Bioshock: Infinite is a little too linear for my tastes, plus I never really had a hardon for FPS's anyway. It's not bad but it's way too simple.

Meh only sunk a few hours into it anyway, will keep at it.

Also switching from SD to HD is like upgrading my 360 without doing anything, it's glorious.

Hella. Going from 360 to PC back a few years ago made me weep. It's insane.

Truth be told, I plugged my 360 via an adapter into my CRT monitor for love back about 7 years ago. Shit was amazing then.

I think once I get back to Korea I'll just balls it and go 4k.

And a PS4, because reasons.

There's an entire enclave of people like you. I'm kind of the same. 360 and PS3 have so much life in them. until the Rift hits it, I'm holding back. I want FULL losing myself in a new world.

I'm basically waiting for the next Elder Scrolls on either Rift or whatevs Sony calls theirs.

Mount & Blade: Warband. Much underrated game. Some of the best medieval combat in any game out there.

Note: mileage will vary for those who demand amazing graphics.

Update: I got Rocketbirds: Hard Boiled Chicken. Nope, I've never heard of it either. Apparently it retails at $10 so I guess I got a bargain (provided the game is any good).

I haven't got time to sit for 3+ hours in one sitting just to get to the next chapter, you've done it to me twice now, I sink 2+ hours of gameplay thinking I've reached the next checkpoint and I come back and I'm back at the fucking START OF THE CHAPTER

You're going back into the pile of unfinished games.

Unless I'm seriously retarded, don't discount that.

All games should have a manual save option, even if it's just a save and quit. I hate quitting a game and not being sure where I'd be when I reloaded.

Though it's been awhile since I've played a game with really terrible checkpointing like that.

Bethesda games are fucking awesome like that: Save literally whenever you want, at any time. I saved during a fight once, just to see if it would work.

That's wierd, I don't remember having any issues with save games when I played Bioshock Infinite on my PC. And the check points seemed pretty regular, certianly not hours apart, maybe 10 minutes max.

That said, I agree that most games should have manual save features.

Oh it autosaves, but turning the game off before a major check point and you're back at the beginning.
