I just watched that the other day as well.
Things escalated quickly. Absolutely ridiculous ending. Seeing it once was enough.

Ant Man leaked, very underrated flick. Paul Rudd is always cool but Evangeline Lilly in spandex is just ice cold! Michael Douglas was a pleasant surprise, Corey Stoll killed it. I've not seen him act before, I think he's on "The Strain"? he's bad ass in this. plus your two throw in character actors are legends of HBO Bobby Cannavale from Boardwalk Empire and Wood Harris from The Wire. sick cast.

^Looking forward to checking out this new show of theirs. I was a big fan of Mr. Show.
I watched Will Ferrell's 'Casa de mi Padre' last night. It was actually better than I expected.
It's on par with 'Nacho Libre' in terms of ridiculousness.

I just found out the other day that Bob Odenkirk wrote Chris Farley's famous van by the river sketch and that totally makes sense

I've mentioned on the Movies thread the Farley doc is well worth a viewing. Odenkirk talks about it.

Ah, I think I remember a US remake of this. Sounded interesting, but it was right about the time I cut back on watching tv. I'll put on the watch list for future viewing. Thanks!

of course lol. I loved it, watched it in 4 sittings actually. I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10 Jessica Jones gets an 8, Daredevil a 9. I had no previous exposure to Krysten Ritter, she's a dynamic young lady. so was Rachel Taylor (who is a total babe). no exposure to David Tenant either who took a boring character premise and really brought him to life. Carrie-Ann Moss needs to work more, she was vicious, ruthless, dominating. Robin Weigert was excellent as well but me being such a Deadwood fan I was fully ready for that (Calamity Jane for anyone who can't tell by her real name). Mike Colter was perfect as Luke Cage, Eka Darville as a strong secondary character, Malcolm, did a fantastic job. whoever casted this show should get some sort of award because he/she really knocked it out of the park. although I did love Daredevil this came in a close second place. next is DD season 2 where they will introduce Frank Castle!! wow. then Luke Cage will get a show, a two hour Netflix movie for Iron Fist, a full Punisher season then the Defenders series on Netflix. this particular Marvel crew is doing BIG things.
