Seeing a John Zorn show was definitely one of the highlights of my gig attending "career". If he plays a show in your town don't miss it!

Currently have tix for Meshuggah, Windhand and Helmet ... 2017 is looking up so far and I've considered going to picnic at the park with the kiddos to catch some of PJ Harvey, but that'll be a decision on the day

Saw Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) in Oakland about a week ago. He said it was his last tour, the first of his last few shows. I really dug it, despite the lack of a band. It was the first hip-hop show I've dug when it was just a DJ backing the act. Usually it just doesn't work live, but he kept the energy up and killed it. Apparently there are at least two new projects coming, but no release dates yet.
Also saw Erykah Badu last month in SF, which was excellent as well. Her band was tight as fuck, and she is so funky.

Finally got to see Baroness a few weeks ago after having missed them so many times in the past. They put on a great show as expected but was fairly dissapointed in the setlist being so heavy on the purple album. Couple of more older tunes would have been nice but still a great show

While getting more and more ridiculous... first three drummers, now FOUR... I'm looking forward to another SF Crimson show. Hope they get here.
Can't ever have enough drummers. I dream of the day that this might happen in Oz (I doubt it very much)

If you're in Maryland, or close by and don't go to this show then you're an idiot:

I always feel the same way. If you ever get the chance to see Run The Jewels, do it. You will not be disappointed. They remain pretty much the only other act I've seen that pulls this off.

W.A.S.T.E. has a limited number of pre-sale tickets, which will be available from HERE at 8:00am PST on Thursday 19th January. A general sale for all of the dates will follow on Friday 20th January.
To minimise secondary ticketing and to give more fans a chance to buy a ticket at its intended price, restrictions will apply on some of the shows, so please carefully read the ticket store's terms & conditions before you buy. Tickets for all USA shows will be limited to 4 per order (except Santa Barbara Bowl which will be limited to 2 per order) and you may need to bring ID to match your ticket.

I'll be going to the Adelaide show on Monday night. Looking forward to it!
Keep your eyes peeled for a wine tasting event - there is one in Hobart today, and one happening the Adelaide so wouldn't surprise me if the distributors are having tastings before most Puscifer shows.

Mate of mine who pretty much lives and breathes all things Maynard , flew down to Hobart to see them down there and ended up being 2 seats behind him and right next to the luchifers on flight back home to Melbourne. She didn't even ask him when the new Tool album was coming out.

Scored some cheap tickets for Guns n' Roses on the weekend, so will be a good chance to see how played out Axl's voice is (Youtube videos suggest it's pretty shot). Haven't been to a stadium gig in a while, so should be interesting.
