OK, I listened to the FIRST Scissor Sisters track. Twice to make sure I wasn't being dismissive. The video was really impressive. Campy and oh so creepy... but it was entertaining. The music just doesn't do much for me. It's very repetitive and the canned beats get monotonous. I really did give it a chance, but it's not for me. Have you ever seen them live? I imagine it would get pretty boring?

Aaaaaand I listed to the second track. Very amusing. I'm pretty sure that was all about anal? (I found a whole/hole new way to love you...) I can only imagine what THAT video would have been! Again, the music is repetitive, the canned drums are a turn off. And honestly, I don't like the guys voice. Again, I gave it a fair shot.

Dude, bottom line: We like certain bands, for various reasons, and others don't share the opinion. It shouldn't bother us, and yet it does on some level... that's life.

I do appreciate people presenting music and artists that they feel strongly about, and I enjoy checking them out IRREGARDLESS of whether or not I end up digging it too. The experience is cool, and it's led to discovering some killer music. Win/Win.
