Opiate Video (aka curveball)

Hey guys,
For what its worth, I did the VIP in Nashville. Adam mentioned the video and that it is currently in the producer's hands.
I'm not sure where that puts it in the whole process.

He went for an update sometime between Christmas and tour start and was told it wasn't ready. He was not given a timeframe either.

It sounded like the producer/director gave Adam a very tool-like it's done when I say it's done.

Its being released in the Fall of 2015. According to Adam.

Still no video... amazing. This thread was started a year and a half ago! That being said, I read on reddit that some VIP session (on the 2017 tour) have been shown a clip of this video. I asked this question on the main page, too, but thought I'd ask here as well. I'm mostly interested in a professional recording of the extended Opiate but I'm also curious about the video itself.

Yeah it is amazing. I was in the room in Oct 2015 when Adam said it would be released before Xmas 15.

I agree in that I'm more curious to hear the re-recording than see the video (though keen for both).

Why it hasn't been released yet is odd, and I'm assuming record label related issues.

I'm more keen for the video myself. I find the mid section of the reworked live version fairly flat and an unnecessary momentum killer of a banging old school tune. I fail to see how a reworked recorded version is going to trump the original so why bother. I mean pushit live really did push that song to something amazing so was a valuable addition to their catalogue. Where as this is just the same song played the way it was 20+ years ago with a mid section that's not really fitting with the rest of the song.

The video exists. We got to see the first 5 minutes of it during the VIP event. It is great.
