Awesome, new Tool in 2014! It's almost 2015, so 2016 will be here soon! 2017 will welcome the new album!

Yes, tracking is just that... recording band members/instruments/vocals on individual tracks so they can be mixed down discretely and then mastered later. Â My January 2014 prediction just got all shot to hell.

Until I see a headline that states "Tool announce release date as...", I take all these little tidbits with a grain of salt & a mild chuckle.. Don't see the point stressing about something that's outta my control. Salival 2 would be most welcome though.Â

I'm more in the camp of as soon as they announce a producer then shit is good to go, 6 months we'll see a new album.

Once they bring may may in you can guarantee 6+ months of him and Adam butting heads.

Tool posted plenty of photos from the studio last time around. Â When they record this time I doubt it will be some great secret - there will be no doubt that they are recording the next album.

I'm confused as to why you think that's the case? Â Are you genuine or are you just dicking around?

I don't think it's a pic of Tool in the studio for that matter either - it's too soon for that I think. Â And as I said if they were in the studio I doubt it'd be a secret.

Ok, we're getting somewhere now. Â Toshi Kasai has recently talked on Facebook about working with Dumb Numbers, and you're allegin that the picture posted is from the sessions recording that album? Â Fair enough. Â

Not sure that explains why Adam is posting it, or why Justin (presuming that is him) is in the photo.
