I thought that was obvious. Why would people be submitting TWO albums? Where's the competition in that?

For example: When it is our turn, Tyson will pick a NICKELBACK album, and I will pick a SOUNDGARDEN album. Everyone will listen to both, then comment on how Tyson's pick sucked donkey balls, and mine rocked. A poll will be conducted at the end of the week, I will win, and my pick will be judged along with others at the end of the season to see who had the best album. Tyson will cry in foetal position for a solid two weeks, and the world will experience peace and happiness for a short time.

In the interest of reinvigorating this great concept, I propose we go back to the list-based idea. Furthermore, because we have a lot of members, we'll be doing TWO albums of the week.

Let's lay down some tentative rules together.

One I would propose is that it has to be no older than twelve months old.

Also, the band or artist can't have more than three LPs to their name.

I agree with above said rules, though it wouldn't bother me if there were a bigger window than the last 12 months. 3 years I think would be fine.

Or if you want to go really wild, if more than 4 - 5 members have heard the album before it's scratched.

That leaves me out, all the albums I've got in my head are from great bands most haven't heard of.

This may have one fatal flaw in that most here are predisposed to choose a metal/rock genre and if someone chooses something outside that it will already be at a disadvantage.

That whole time limit thing makes no sense, we discuss music here all the time, hot bands will get listened too and discussed i.e. deafheaven
