There were a couple of studio type shots that I think Adam posted on Instagram late last year. At the time I suspected they had something to do with another project Tool may be working on,but if the report is accurate then it could be that they recorded the album then very quietly.

Personally I think writing being 100% complete is a little more realistic.

Since no one has mentioned it yet, someone on the front page post said he was there and that Adam said it in an obviously joking way. It was a joke.

The report is bs. At the QA Adam made a few remarks about the impatient fans and the new album. At one point he said the album was done and it would be released tomorrow. At face value I suppose you could print that as 'confirmation' but being there you could tell by the way he said it that he was kidding.

Thanks for confirming. What remarks did he make about impatient fans? Sounds like the new album questions might turn into a touchy subject for him as the VIP Q&A continues.

That's from the Loft though. I highly doubt, given their recording history, that they'd record there. Also, the hashtag indicates they were probably just demoing. But who knows.

If anything, I'd imagine at most he said the writing is "100% done" and they're hoping to record it this year. Spring 2015 release.

In my drunken rant last night on fb, I'm pretty sure I said, on more than one occasion, that I could feel myself becoming Mog.
