Yes, IEMs don't have the best mix, but they are always interesting to hear. Especially in terms of hearing the vox. Maynard sounds good - not perfect, but who's expecting that?

Thanks.

31:11 - 39:01 Merkaba
39:01 - 43:50 Sober
44:09 - 57:14 Pushit (Salival Version)

I prefer the original version over the remastered one. Wait, the original version is originally remastered so Toolarchive's remaster is basically a remaster of a remaster. whatever, this one [BBvideo 560,340][/BBvideo]

I thought this recording could deserve just a slight improvement, so I once again tried to "remaster" and "polish" it. I believe I did quite well. As with my previous attempts, the concert now sounds fuller, updated, punchier, and has a greater stereo pan, and better frequency excitation. A lot of parts sound clearer and fresh. Still I should say that this is an amateur approach since I do not have the separate master channels (vocals, guitar etc...), only one master output, therefore a detailed remaster is impossible. Exported at 512 point sinc. I only worked on the lossless source. This has been previously attempted to be remastered, back in 2005. My version more or less supersedes that version, simply because audio editing in DAWs has made quantum leaps forward since then. Stereo is also slightly fixed and key frequencies are boosted for just a slight cinematic touch and blah blah blah you get the audio talk. It's not live Bluray audio, but something more or less close to it. 30% close to it :).

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. When you A-B them on this page, side by side, that was my immediate reaction too.

But then I realized that the 2005 version is markedly louder than the 2014 version. Try picking a spot (they are slightly off in start time), listen to 2007, then increase volume slightly and listen to the same spot in 2014. I do prefer the updated version. But it's all a matter of taste, and my ears have been through decades more abuse than yours...

It really sounds like Maynard is using some sort of effect that helps him with the higher keys, similar too a chours effect. Maybe some really light autotune.. [BBvideo 560,340][/BBvideo]

I noticed the same thing during a Jambi IEM from the same show. I'm not convinced either way yet to be honest.

So since this last tour I have been going deep in all the videos and audio of past shows I have. I have pretty much every song with really good quality but Wings 1 & 2 and Right in Two. Could you guys please help me out? I just loved seeing them live again and even though they played songs that I have already heard it was such a fun two shows. Luckily both shows had different setlist. CAN WAIT for the new album and really stoked to hear them tour on it. :)

Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but this version of 10K Days is reality really good.

Particularly noticeable on the "my shadow" part in Forty Six & 2 from that Reno audio.

Personally I unconvinced there is even an effect. I think it's just as likely to be some quirk of the recording.

Welcome! Wanna play, "Let's count the Schleyers"? It is one of my favorite games to play.
