that's disappointing, what's the premise being Agent Coulson died in the Avengers?

It's "classified" and presumably revealed in some twist later in the series.

The SHIELD show isn't bad or anything, its just that there's nothing special/unique about it. It entertains me but I forget all about it 5 minutes later.

Maybe it'll grow into something when it gets its legs.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I mean.

From what I understand Joss Whedon shows tend to take some time before they really start getting interesting.

Then again this show is a bit more high profile than his other shows and probably has more studio interference than any of his other shows.

So what I'm trying to say is that I can't say whether or not this show will go anywhere.

There's certainly enough question marks in regards to the long term plot that suggest things will happen, question for me is will week to week episodes get any better? If not I don't see me feeling much motivation to see what twists are revealed later in the season.

For the record, I think what they're hinting at with Coulson is ultimately going to be that his mind is now in an android body. He's now the Vision, in other words.

I just read the IMDB page for the new X-Men flick god damn you got a lineup in there!! great cast, intriguing story line. it's going to be a Mutant-a-rama. First Class was severely underrated. and now Singer is back so you know it's going to be intense.

I know, right? I don't think there was one White Aussie in the whole show.

And what was with them touching everyone and each other all the time? That was fucking creepy.

Still a good way to spend an hour on a Thursday night. And now kick-off in under twelve hours. Fuck yeah.

I thought the third episode of Agents of SHIELD was a bit better. Might have some potential after all. Enough to compel me to keep watching anyway...

Yea that episode seemed straight out of a comic book. The Avengers do have a villain named Gravitron, right? If so then that's who that is going to be.

I looked it up after the episode, and it does seem that Graviton is a Avengers villain.

I'm still curious as to why they didn't go with Thanos in the sequel. why would they tease him through the entire movie and put him on the shelf? kinda disappointed about that. Ultron? really? lol

They're saving Thanos for the last movie.

And Ultron is arguably the greatest Avengers villain there is. Look up his history, dude fucks shit up.

so he's basically some awesome robot but how the FUCK is he going to battle all of the Avengers at once. I mean the Infinity Wars were just that, a war. This looks more like a really good fight which Ultron is going to lose, badly. So I mean, after watching a really good battle in the first movie don't they need to step it up a notch? The Chitauri were some bad mother fuckers, plus they were lead by Loki. I feel like Ultron can't even fuck with Thor and Ironman as a two man team let alone the Hulk and Captain Mer'ca. Raven please, I implore you, make a good case for why this is going to be a war. I'm open minded. Sell it because I'm not on board at all..

Ultron is a self aware machine, made of ADAMANTIUM, smarter than Tony Stark. You really need more than that?

Don't believe me, look up his history.

So he can be easily be defeated by Magneto. Cool.

Last I checked Magneto wasn't on the Avengers.
