one hour until rangers bruins
well looking on the bright side, at least Nash finally scored a goal. can't believe we have to dig out of another 0-2 hole, but it can be done. especially in MSG.
mmm, yea...not gonna be easy to do twice
that's for sure.
Bahstun looked good yesterday.
Game 3 for Detroit and Chicago tonight, 7:30...
I'll be home just in time to open a cold one

I agree, difficult to do it twice two series in a row. not probable but possible. I wish we grabbed game one. played a great 3 periods of hockey in the opener. I have a sneaking suspicion that if we had a 2-1 series lead heading into game 4 in MSG that Tort's might have started Biron (who is an excellent backup at home). because Henrik's shoulder is worrying me big time...sucks. on the bright side the Yankees "c" team has the best ERA in the AL. Mo is defying father time once again. between him and Robertson they have 37 k's and 8 walks out of the pen.
Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I want that ship, not excuses.

Before I'm off  to work again I must sayÂ
the Wings looked good last night again.
Patrick Eaves = all he does is kill your penalties.
and Pavel Datsyuk is the best player in the world
period
I'll be pulling for your Rangers tonight...I like game 7's
And actually I saw one of the Rangers fArm teams play this year
over in greenville, SC...tell ya 'bout that later....

"Somehow, the Red Wings survived despite having four players on the ice for more than two minutes and two for more than three. Shortly after the marathon shift, the momentum shifted and Detroit rode it to a 3-1 victory and a 2-1 series lead.
"I was very aware and so were my lungs, and my legs were very aware," Detroit forward Patrick Eaves said. "That could have been a turning point if they would have scored on that power play and extended end-zone shift. But with [Jimmy Howard] back there, if we could keep them to the outside and knock any rebounds away, he's going to do a good job for us."
Eaves was on the ice for two minutes and 15 seconds during that shift, which is about three times longer than an ideal one. His shift was short compared to a few of his teammates. Defenseman Niklas Kronwall was on the ice for 2:46. Defenseman Jonathan Ericssonand forward Drew Miller checked in at 3:15.
"More than three minutes? That must be some kind of record," Ericsson said. "Actually, I was kind of standing still in front of the net for a little while. I had the chance to get some big breaths. I wasn't as tired after three minutes as I was after like two, I think."
That was awesome.
The fucking Hawks had some great chances too during that period of time, the little bastages.

If the Wings
win the Cup
I will carve a Cheese (Stanley) Cup
out of cheese.
Or at least give it a shot.
Any suggestions, preferably constructive in meaning?

Dude! Â What is Nash doing hanging out in the corner on the Power Play?
Not gonna score from there, big boy.
He needs some coachin' up and soon.

Pittsburgh vs Boston in the Eastern Conference Championship, for theÂ
Opportunity to play for the Stanley Cup.
Penguins vs. Bruins.
And it looks like it may be
Los Angeles vs Detroit in the West,
But that remains to be seen.
Hopefully we'll see a 'Black Hawk Down.'
