I'm sure they've come up with something or another to allow him to avoid losing that easily. They did just have a huge event where Ultron pretty much took over the world.

I'm guessing at some point in there Magneto would've gotten involved, and failed to stop him.

I think they avoided that (thanks for sending me to research this) because the new Spiderman movies plus X-Men are in two different studios. I believe that's why they had to switch it up because Wolverine and Spidey were so prevalent in the Ultron comic series. curious what Joss does with the story.

I can't stand muscials. The Toki/Skwissgar guitar battle was mega fun though. It was ok overall but I really wish it was just an extended regular episode. There were parts where I actually wanted to fast forward or even turn it off. At least it looks like we are getting at least one more season though.
