Yeah, it is interesting. Playing over Easter is a recipe for shitty ticket sales as well, but I think I'll try and get along to the Adelaide show.

Going to Deltron 3030 at the House of Blues in SD tonight. I have seen Del multiple times but have never seen him in Deltron 3030. So stoked. I have never been to the House of Blues so hope it's a cool venue.

Re: Live Shows, Tours, etc
So I have been waiting on posting a review of the Deltron 3030 show cuz I wanted to see if I could find a setlist for it. I have failed. The show was great though. The House of Blues in San Diego is an alright venue. It wasn't very packed but it did fill up when Deltron started, although there was still enough room to dance around. The wife and I like usual drank some wine and smoked in the parking lot before hand. Fuck buying alcohol at the show. Del posted on Facebook that the HoB's has a curfew and that they would be on at 9. At first I was pissed that they had a curfew but I am 28 now and feeling a little old. So I was stoked that we knew what time he was starting and that it wouldn't be a late show. Also knowing he wasn't getting on stage till 9 made it so I could drink min.'s before entering the venue so I don't sober up and have to buy more drinks waiting for these goddamn hip hopers to get on stage.
So Kid Koala opened the show and I had never heard of him. Man was he entertaining. He has 3 turn tables and stacks and did I say STACKS of records. He would talk between tracks about the them or just talk about whatever. This one track was a Yo Gabba Gabba track. Haha. It is his daughters favorite track he said, "she doesn't like any of my songs until I was watching Yo Gabba Gabba with her. She really loved the one song so I thought I can take this track and make it my own." It was such a fun song. I guess I was drunk and on edibles and that's what made it really fun. Everybody in the venue though was participating with the movement's that Kid Koala showed us and lyrics of the song. I think it made everybody feel like a kid again. Very stoked I saw his set and will be buying his music in the future.
Now to Deltron 3030. This was the first time seeing Del with Deltron. Dan the Automater was more of a producer DJ it seemed because he was on a all digital turn table and conducting the band more then really DJ-ing. Kid Koala had the real turn tables going during Deltron. It was a 50/50 setlist from the first album and the Event 2 album. I enjoyed every fucking song. Del and Dan were both very up beat and very good with crowd work. Last time I saw Del he must of had been sick because he sounded nothing like he did on his albums and this Deltron show he sounded great. One of the last songs they played was Clint Eastwood from the Gorillaz. Which was a really fun song to hear live because that takes me back to Junior High and one of the first songs I heard from Del.
So it was one of the most chill hip hop shows I have seen and everybody was respecting each other's space and moving to the music. The last few hip hop/rap shows I have been to (Big Boy and Nas) have just been full of douche bags and cunts. So it was refreshing to have everybody totally chill and enjoying the music. If you have the chance to see Del you will not be disappointed and please support his music. He is very independent (I think) and buy his music if you like it because he needs the support.
Also do you guys know that Ice cube is his cousin!? He is leaps and bounds better then Ice Cube. Well, 1997 to present Ice Cube. Haha

Yes thank you, Kittaan. I think that is pretty spot on. I just love the space/future lyrics that Deltron have.

Serves them right for skipping Adelaide. Hopefully the reschedule is a little more friendly for South Australians...
