@Poop - Dude the fuckin O's man.  Offensively they are a fucking machine. Crush is having an MVP type year.  Manny, Adam and Nick are having superb seasons so far.  JJ has been on a rampage in June.  They are just one shutdown type pitcher away from complete domination.  I keep hoping Tillman or Hammel or even this kid Gaussman will turn into that guy but fuck it just isn't happening.  Watching us against the Tigers that is the difference.  The Tigers are a world series caliber team because of their pitching.  Pitching is everything.  Fuck we just need one truly dominate pitcher.

Moggie, do you see LeBrawn pulling two games at home in a row out of his ass, or is it Spurs in 7?

This has been a much different playoffs than I was anticipating, but good BBall.  It could easily go either way, but I think the Spurs are more than capable of stealing a game on the road.

The Finals has easily been the weirdest NBA series I've ever seen.  It's ALL runs.

I picked Miami to win but it is starting to look like they're out of gas.  Letting Indiana push them to 7 is catching up to them.

In order not to flip flop I'll say Miami in 7 (originally picked them to win in 6), but it would not shock me one bit if the Spurs close it out tonight.

Mog, yeah the O's offense is raking and boy do they need pitching.  It's sad that they have to trot the likes of Arrieta and Britton out there (yesterday and today) to make spot-starts.  Fuck those clowns.  I think DD and Buck are hoping to tread water until Chen gets back from his injury and reassess the situation than.  Of course, the fact that Freddy Garcia is part of our rotation speaks volumes.  I think, this year, our pitching is ranked 13 or 14th in the AL.  Just imagine what our record would be if we had a TOR pitcher or even a decent #2.  Tillman and Gausman have the most upside, Hammel (in a contract year) has shit the bed a fair amount.  Bundy is supposed to start throwing soon (if he already hasn't) and he, depending how he progresses could be a September call-up.

But yeah, they need to pull the trigger and bring in a pitcher.  And if they could do something about second base, that'd be great.  Ryan Flaherty and his .160 average and like .500 ops is fucking pathetic.

Na dude I don't think so.  The Spurs have played perfect defense.  Wade and Bosh needed to be special all series and Wade has a bum knee and Bosh is the most overrated player in Basketball.  More than anything though, this shows again that LeBron will never be on a level with Jordan, Bird or Magic.  His mid range jumper is way too streaky.  With the way the Spurs have been defending, Jordan would have murdered them with mid range jumpers.  I do think the Heat will win tonight, the series has just gone back and forth that way, but I see the Spurs winning in 7.

It took a while for me to warm to Dromboski as GM in Detroit but over the years, he's done exceptionally well.   Of course, where did he start?  Yup...starting pitching; case in point last night:  We've got 2 ace's baby...1 a and 1 b... I'm Sher-zer you caught onto that. And Jim Leyland?  There isn't a player in the leagues who wouldn't play for him.

Check Davis' bat, too, eh?

If he can put together the next five years with close to those numbers, I'll be sold.  Overall, I still think between Boston and Baltimore one should take the East and the other a wild card.  The title is the safest way to assure post-season baseball.  Looks like Oakland or Texas out West and my Tigers in the Central.

Yup, this is the most likely scenario, but again, it won't be a shocker if it's over tonight either.

Big changes coming next season, all over the league.  Lots of power shifts and some young lions coming up.  It will be interesting to see who rises to the top.

Ok I haven't watched one second of the

nba finals but I can tell you

the 2-3-2 format in any sport

Air fucking go,

if the

Spurs don't win Game 6....

it's a Game 7.

Even Yow fucking Ming agrees with me, and I am public enema number one lately.

READ: I don't want a Game 7.

If there is a mother fucking Game 7, it gives Miami

A damn good chance of winning and I just will

Not stand for that.

Hmmm.....

Then again....

Maybe I'll let that 'horse' ride...

Needs to stick to singles or homers.  His slow ass isn't made for hustle-doubles.  Nice 6-4-3 DP he hit into to end it too.  O's win.  O's win.

Sorry Charlie.  That was an UNBELIEVABLE Game 6.  Best game of the series by far, and I am pretty surprised that the Heat pulled it out to get the OT, and then hang on to win.  I am looking forward to Game 7 and don't even give a shit who wins.

Man I cannot believe the Heat won that game.  Dude I don't think the Spurs can come back from that.  They absolutely gave the game away.  The fucking trophy was being wheeled out for the celebration.  Missed free throws will kill you.  James finally woke up in the 4th qtr.  Ray Allen did what he does.  Bosh fucking woke up on the defensive end.  The Spurs are in trouble man.  Look at the amount of minutes Duncan and Parker played.  The Heat are significantly younger and can bounce back much quicker.  Hell of a series.  I will say it again though, LeBron needs to work on his fucking mid-range jumper.  The Spurs have played great D but man when I think back on Jordan with the Bulls he would have fucking feasted on the Spurs D.  The mid-range jumper is the most under appreciated shot in basketball.  It opens up the lane and keeps the defense honest.

AJ and JJ hit bombs.  Hopefully we close the series out properly this afternoon.

All true, and you know LeBrawn is beating the shit out of himself for it too.  You could see it in his face and demeanor after the game.  Hell, during the game.  That was a gift.  Ray is clutch as FUCK.  But don't count the Spurms out, they may be old, but they can get the job done when least expected.  That's why this is going to be a killer game.  NOBODY knows how it will play out.  Nothing worse than a Finals blow-out.  So anti-climactic.

I love that I don't care who wins.  Makes it so much more enjoyable to just watch it go down.  I was a nervous wreck watching the W's in the first 2 rounds.  Makes me feel damn good that we were the only team in the West to even take a game from the Spurms - and we got mid-range handled on our roster.  8`)  Just need healthy bodies and some minor roster adjustments to contend.

I'll say it again, this was one of the weirdest NBA post season's in memory, with all the injuries and flukes, combined with those on the wane and the new young guns, as well as the back office / league changes.  Very different scene going forward, and I'm anticipating some interesting changes coming up.  Sucks that this years draft is so shallow though.

Oh, and fuck all you NBA haters, this shit is exciting.

Wow, didn't notice Tim Duncan coming back in illegally at the end of regulation.  Interesting.

The refs also shouldn't have stopped play.  And Miami won so it doesn't matter.  That game was terribly officiated both ways.  I can't believe the NBA keeps letting Joey Crawford ref these games.

The Spurs mega choked that game.  Ref mistakes or not, you can't lose a 5 point lead with 28 seconds left in the potential clinching game of the Finals.  No way in hell they win Game 7 in Miami.  Too many forces going against them.

@Kittaan - Agreed all around dude great series.  I love basketball I don't get why people hate on it.  Truth be told though I am a fucking sports addict so I follow everything.  The NHL Finals have been excellent as well btw.  Did you see Chicago tie the series up last night?  Fucking 6-5 in OT.
