They live there, probably why they don't want to play the area.

I'm so sorry.
Agreed. Someone must've done something very, very bad and seeing Phish must've been the punishment levied by the judge.
hey, hold your horses guys ... phish have done some great things ... like fill parking lots full of hippies who give away quality drugs on the cheap or sometimes free. Althoug, that said, I'd never suggest you ever enter the venue ... get 'stuff', leave as soon as your suitcase is full!

I would definitely take either of these. Especially Skyharbor. Fuck, that would be great.

I'm gonna guess that Disposition/Reflection/Triad will be played in this little tour. Just cause. Another one would be H, no idea why I'm thinking of those 4.

I definitely would love to hear all those. Plus Jimmy.
It would follow the pattern they started last year. Still, I kind of doubt it though.

Indeed.
2010 they opened up with Third Eye. 2012 they opened with Hooker With A Penis.
So, if they follow that pattern, another Aenima song to open. Jimmy is a great song, but not to open a show.
My prediction is Eulogy. Though, H would be fantastic, but IMO not as an opener.

Any of those aenima songs would be awesome (jimmy, H, eulogy) but also hoping for a return of the grudge

would be great to hear those classics and the grudge. I wouldn't mind hearing right in two played live, I know some people see it as a weak point for tool but It's one of my favourite songs.

Love that tune. And amazing live as well.
People bag on the lyrics, but I think they are comparing them to the deeper themed songs. This one is fairly transparent, but cleverly executed. And the music is sublime (not Sublime).

It has one of Maynard's most poignant lyric and my all time fav
"Repugnant is a creature that will squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven conscious of his fleeting time here"

I know a lot of people cut ass on 10k days, but I personally loved it. Rosetta Stoned might not have been my favorite song, but any other song on that album is/would be superb to hear live.
Especially Jambi.
Shit gets real in General Admission shows when they play Jambi bro.

I would think Jimmy falls under the umbrella with Prison Sex and Wings most likely.

According to a recent comment on the blog:
Don't know how sincere he was, but I got to ask D.C. a couple of questions at NAAM this weekened:
When I asked if they (TOOL) would be adding a Los Angeles date to their West Coast mini tour, he answered: "NO. San Francisco is the closest, but definitely when the new album comes out"
At this point in time I wouldn't be holding out for any further dates to be announced.

That one may be safe, he does still sing a few Puscifer tunes that are about his mom after all.

Not to shit in anybody's Cheerios but why would you buy a VIP pass to the SF dates? It's all GA so what are they going to do? I would hope for the VIP that they would set up a barrier in the front. Anyways I hope those Vegas or AZ dates will happen. That guy on the blog that talked to Danny, why didn't he asked about the new album and if that's going to see the light of day this year?
