Old news is old. I'm probably going to go and flame you with a bad review.

For some reason I have it in my head that you were the first one, right or wrong, to mention Clutch on here (or at least the first one I paid attention to bringing them up) and sweet goodness if now I don't gobble that band up.badkittygothgirl wrote:They played Subtle Hustle?! Nice!
Blast Tyrant is definitely of my favorite (not that there's really a bad one in the lot) albums of theirs.
Now if you and the rest of the douches in the hockey league could pick up on the trash-talking, all would be right with the world.

Probably was BKGG. Think she's been a fan for quite a while.markuspoop wrote:For some reason I have it in my head that you were the first one, right or wrong, to mention Clutch on here (or at least the first one I paid attention to bringing them up) and sweet goodness if now I don't gobble that band up.badkittygothgirl wrote:They played Subtle Hustle?! I first saw them live in 1995 with Marilyn Manson... fucking brilliant show! have to agree that most of Clutchs' stuff is great.

I would love to take the credit but it was CJ29 who turned me on to Clutch. Yes, I too gobbled them up when I finally started listening.
There is still a league, but the commish and cheese are busy making skid marks at the bottom of the pack. The Puck Bunny Brawlers, on the other hand, are having a great season!!

Saw U2 on the Achtung Baby tour with F'ng Public Enemy opening. That's also a bit incongruous. I just Googled it and it sounds like this is part of a tour where the fans get to vote on what songs they play.Ravenpig wrote:What does Metallica "By Request" mean?

I hope they request nothing but St. Anger and Death Magnetic songs.
And is it weird that it didn't even cross my mind to google it?

Not really. I thought the same thing when I first saw it and I didn't think to Google until you mentioned it.Ravenpig wrote:And is it weird that it didn't even cross my mind to google it?

Anyways it's a novel idea, but I don't imagine a By Request setlist is going to look much different than an average Metallica setlist.

I've set up a bot to continually vote for Freebird and Frantic.

Re: Live Shows, Tours, etc
that's pretty cool that they do that. I gotta say, love them or hate them they give back to their fans.
