some N.Y.H.C. - fantastic new school type hardcore from Shootyz Groove, from their 1995 release Jammin In Vicious Environments. this whole LP bangs, kinda changed the game back then. they were a very different sounding band coming out of the scene back when there was a scene. there was the Limp Bizkit way of doing metal/hip hop and then there was this, which was far superior. a lot of funk, some Beastie Boys type rhymes. the musicianship was ill and the obligatory hardcore breakdowns used to rock the underground shows these guys were doing at the time. here's a few tracks, give a listen, I wouldn't steer yous wrong. "El Sol" and "The Ocean" were my personal favs.

Here's a change of pace for some of you I imagine.
Yes religion is for the indoctrinated and yes the Mormon religion would have to be one of the sillier christain versions going, but my grandfather loved this version, I love listening to Andrea Bocelli - and I find an orchestra moving no matter what they are playing usually.
