Getting the merch out to the music clinic attendees appears to be a shit show. I got my stuff, but some of it is damaged despite paying $30 to ship and it came in something that couldn't have cost more then $12 to ship. No response from the tool camp for 2 weeks now. We were supposed to get a group photo that was taken at the end and still haven't received that, again with no response from e-mail. I don't really care how long it is taking, just reply to my e-mail with something....

Sadly the Tool merch crew has been borderline incompetent for decades now...

If Tool are shitty enough to have a poorly run merch team that their fans spend their hard earned on, that's pretty low. but to treat the VIP attendees like that is down right disrespectful. These guys have spent what over $500, they deserve to be treated better than that.

At this point I'm not expecting to get a replacement shirt, or the group photo. I've seen a link to the group photo but the right side (where my wife and I are) is cut off.

I have no doubt they'll take care of it, but their response time is insane. Dealt with it before. It's mind-boggling they still take such a home-grown/under-staffed approach to their merch since they're one of the biggest bands on the planet. I know they don't do it maliciously, but there's really no excuse for a lot of that.

I wonder who's in charge of their online store/website, like who makes the big decisions, is it the band or the label?

When at the clinic Adam did say the merch was a 1 man operation and since they are sending the stuff out to be patient. I feel like I am, but the lack of communication is my only issue. I get that taking time to respond could take away from actually fixing the issue, but after 3 weeks of silence it get's frustrating. The shirt sucks(it's my wife's that is messed up anyway ), but I'm more interested in the photo.

Whoever runs the store needs a lesson in customer service. It takes less than a minute to acknowledge an email reaching out for help.

I agree. I send Hellboy emails at his work near hourly (using the various pseudonyms and false identities I've accrued over the years) and he always responds promptly. This Tool merch guy only responds to maybe one or two of the 500 to 700 emails I send every hour. Very unprofessional if I do say so myself.

To be fair I have spent the past decade signing up the tool merch email to as many gay porn sites as I could.
