i didnt hear the grudge in descending. def hearing jambi in Invincible around the 7 to 8 minute + mark area.... the rush is passing, back to being dickheads again! haha

I'm excited as fuck to hear new Tool and the few listens I had gave me goosebumps. However I think I'm just excited to hear new Tool and that the differences between all other albums aren't going to be the case with this one. Despite such a long wait I think we are actually going to be getting 10,000 days rehashed and it won't sound sonically different to their last effort. Just my opinion based on what I've heard so far, hopefully the rest of the album will feel different.

As for the August 30th date agreed it is BS plus why in the he’ll haven’t the band announced the name of the album yet? Fucking crazy man. But it is Tool so it doesn’t surprise me. I am just happy they have been chill about leaving the YouTube vids of Descending and Invincible alone. Least they could do after 13 years.

186 pages of high art this thread. Some of my best work. Oh I was an angry bastard but some of those rants really are outstanding. I look at this thread with equal parts pride and embarrassment. Oh I took things too far but I nailed a bunch of shit as well. The only thing I really got completely wrong was at one point I blamed Maynard for the delay and that wasn't fair. That shit is all on Adam. Let's be real here Danny would have gone with whatever if Adam and Justin were happy the man can drum to anything and make it sound phenomenal. Justin likes to tinker but again Adam really runs the show. Maynard is a hypocritical shit but I cannot question his work ethic.

Oh and fuck cd packaging. August 30th. August fucking 30th..because of...packaging. And where in the fuck is the Opiate rework and vid? The Pot vid? The live DVD? Why in the fuck isn't the back catalogue up on Itunes and Amazon yet? What is the fucking delay with that one?
