- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.

- Never thought about it.

so what year did the lenticular keychains come out? anybody know? was it before or after aenima or lateralus? could the fact that blair called those reel2reels lenticular refer to a period of time when those may have been recorded?

so things are starting to look good, via Tool social media we're starting to hear directly from the horses mouth that the recording it starting to slowly become a reality. is anyone else waiting for the other shoe to drop like I am? a 10 vehicle Vespa accident? someones overpriced mansion burning down? Adam's wife caught cheating by TMZ with Ryan Seacrest? Justin finding Jesus (hopefully just in the mirror)?

Adam has done a video for Opiate and likely The Pot, speculatively speaking. If they did a full-length motion picture they could meld a bunch of stuff together, perhaps incorporating stuff from all of their records. With all the artists he knows and brushes up against he'd have a full-fledged team of collaborators that would jump at the opportunity to make something like this---it would stand on it's own for decades. I know Chet Zar says doing Tool videos was probably one of his favorite things he's ever done. Meats Meier is another that loves working with Tool. It's plausible he'd even have the wifey collaborate with him.
Also on my wishlist, and something in the realms of possibility (my opinion). Adam is clearly a film enthusiast, why not attempt to create some form of large scale film art, fits with the "biggest project of our lives statement" by JC... In any case I would be stoked with something like this.... If not, oh well....

Been thinking about this all day (assuming we are both talking about the oldish twitter arm picture and not a baseball curveball reference :? )...

I think the Curveball is that Tool are actually the Ghostbusters in G3 and the women are decoys.

It would make sense to package whatever they're doing with the new album so there is incentive to buy it rather than download it

Appears toolband.com is vulnerable to the FREAK exploit, a new SSL/TLS vulnerability. ...Interesting.

"Salival was basically a greatest hits album"? really bro? stop your nonsense. that statement is wildly inaccurate.

Got an email today from a guy who's compiled various bits and pieces that suggest Tool are making a movie. If you're interested you can read here: https://thewellpaidslave.wordpress.com/ ... -fit-pt-2/

There's not any real new news there, and to be honest I don't think he builds a compelling case, but it would come as no surprise to me if Tool were working on a movie.

What type of movie do you envision them making? Like a live concert DVD?
